Xiaomi Mi Band launched in India for Rs. 999


Xiaomi at its Global Mi Phone Premiere event in New Delhi, India also launched the Mi Band alongside Xiaomi Mi 4i.

The Xiaomi Mi Band is a fitness tracker that tracks users fitness and sleeping routine. It can also track steps walked, distance covered and calories burned. The Mi Band consists of a tracker sporting aluminum finish with micro laser perforation and no display screen. The tracker can be swapped with different bands.

The Mi Band connects to your Android smartphone via Bluetooth 4.0 low energy (BLE).  It has LED notification for call and messages and it can also vibrate to notify incoming calls.. It can also be used to unlock the smartphone without tryping any password when band is within range. It is IP67 certified for water resistance and the 41mAh battery delivers up to 30 days of standby life.

The Mi Band will be available in Blue, Pink, Brown, Black, Purple and Grey. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 999 and will be available exclusively via Mi.com. The Mi Band will go up for registration on April 28 and the first 1,000 units will be available for Rs. 1 as a part of preview program.
