Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 with dual-cameras, 4000mAh battery now available offline in India


The Eluga Ray 500 was Panasonic's first smartphone to boast dual-camera setup. It was launched in India back in September this year exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 8,999.

And now Panasonic has announced that the Eluga Ray 500 will also be available via offline mobile stores as well across the country. It will carry the same price tag as online at Rs. 8,999 and color options include Mocha Gold, Marine Blue and Champagne Gold.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 is one of most affordable smartphone with dual-cameras and beefy battery capacity.

It sports dual 13MP f/2.0 + 8MP f/2.4 wide-angle sensors and packs a massive 4000MAh battery. As for the other specs, the Eluga Ray 500 ships with 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 8MP selfie camera.

Among other features, the Eluga Ray 500 also includes fingerprint scanner, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and separate slots for dual-SIM and microSD card. It runs Android Nougat out of the box.

Panansonic Eluga I9 with 3GB RAM, selfie flash launched at Rs. 7,499


Panasonic is expanding its budget Eluga line up with the launch of Eluga I9 in India. It has been priced at Rs. 7,499 and will be exclusively on Flipkart starting December 15 in Space Grey, Champagne Gold and Blue colors.

The Eluga I9 features 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor further aided by Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card and runs Android Nougat out of the box.

It ships with 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with an LED flash, and 5MP f/2.4 front facing camera for selfie, also assisted by an LED flash for brighter low-light self-portraits.

Connectivity duties are handled by dual-SIM slots (hybrid), 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It supports USB OTG as well, and has a fingerprint scanner at the back. A 2500mAh battery runs the show.

Panasonic Eluga C with near bezel-less design, dual-cameras announced


Panasonic is going bezel-free for the first time with its latest smartphone. The Eluga C flaunts 3-sided  bezel design similar to Sharp's Aquos phones and Xiaomi's Mi MIX, which means it has very slim bezels at the top and sides resulting in a screen to body ratio of 84.6 percent. 

However, the lower chin does have very thick bezels and accommodates the home button, which doubles as fingerprint scanner, the front camera sensor as well as other sensors.

As for the specifications, the Eluga C features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by MediaTek MT6750T processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography, it includes 13MP+5MP dual rear cameras with f/2.2 aperture, and 8MP front facing camera for selfies. It runs Android Nougat and supports dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS, while a 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on.

The Panasonic Eluga C has been launched in Taiwan for TWD 6000 (Rs. | $200) and is currently up for pre-order. We can expect the phone to make its way to India soon.

Panasonic P91 with 5-inch display, 4G VoLTE launchesfor Rs. 6,490


Following the release of Eluga A4 and Eluga I5, Pansonic has launched yet another budget smartphone in India belonging to the P series.

Dubbed P91, the dual-SIM phone runs Android Nougat and supports 4G VoLTE. It features 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor paired to a Mali T720 GPU and 1GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The handset ships with 8MP rear camera, that's assisted by an LED flash and 5MP selfie shooter. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery, and supports WiFi, Bluetooth and USB OTG.

Priced at Rs. 6,490, the Panasonic P91 will be available via offline mobile stores in Blue, Gold and Sand Black colors.

Panasonic Eluga I5 with 5-inch display, 13MP camera launched at Rs. 6,499


Following the launch of the battery-centric Eluga A44 for Rs. 12,490, Panasonic has released another budget smartphone in dubbed Eluga I5.

The Panasonuc Eluga I5 features 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with Asahi Dragon Trail glass protection and is powered by an 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6747 processor mated to Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. It runs Android Nougat out of the box and comes with 16GB internal storage, that's expandable via microSD card.

It ships with 13MP rear camera assisted by an LED flash, and 5MP front facing camera. For connectivity, it includes dual-SIM slots (hybrid), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery, and also gets fingerprint scanner as well.

Panasonic Eluga A4 with 5000mAh battery launched at Rs. 12,490


Panasonic's latest budget smartphone is designed for power users, who want a beefy battery capacity. Dubbed Eluga A4, the main highlight of the phone is the massive 5000mAh battery inside, which should make the phone run for three to five days on a single charge, depending on the usage.

Coming to the other specification, the Eluga A4 features 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with NEG2 glass protection and is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded by inserting a microSD card.

The camera department includes a 13MP rear camera assisted by an LED flash, and 5MP front camera for selfies. Running Android Nougat, the phone supports dual-SIMs, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. Panasonic P99 Android Nougat phone with 4G VoLTE launches for Rs. 7,490


Panasonic is launching a mid-range P series 4G VoLTE smartphone in India called P99. It comes as the successor of P88, which was launched late last year, but gets a downgrade in the display size camera, battery and storage department. However, the new P99 carries a cheaper price tag and runs Android Nougat as opposed to Marshmallow on P88.

In terms of specification, the Panasonic P99 comes with 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 2GB RAM, while the on-board storage is 16GB. The storage can be expanded by inserting a microSD card. It packs 2000mAh battery.

For photography, there's 8MP rear camera with an LED flash and 5MP front facing shooter. Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. USB OTG is also supported.

The Panasonic P99 is priced at Rs. 7,490 and is now available for purchase from Panasonic brand shops and authorized retail stores across the country in Champagne Gold, Blue and Black colors.

Panaosnic launches Eluga I4 with 4G VoLTE, fingerprint scanner for Rs. 8,290


Panasonic is banking heavily on the festive season, for the sale of its smartphone, by launching new budget devices across various price segments. Earlier this month, the brand launched P9, dual-camera toting Eluga Ray 500 and battery-centric Eluga 700. Now it is adding yet another device to its Eluga family: the Eluga I4.

The Panasonic Eluga I4 features 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It gets 8MP rear camera with quad-LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. It has dedicated slots for dual-SIM and microSD card, and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.l1 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. Running Android Nougat, the handset packs a decent 3000mAh battery, and has a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button.

The Panasonic Eluga I4 has been priced at Rs. 8,290 and will be available for purchase from Panasonic brand shops and authorized retail outlets across the country in Blue, Black and Gold colors.

Panasonic India outs Toughbook CF-33 rugged 2-in-1 tablet


Japanese tech giant Panasonic is better known for their budget smartphone. But the company's portfolio also includes rugged tablets. That said, Panasonic has launched a new rugged Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet in India called CF-33. The tablet is strictly targeted towards business and enterprises who are involved in outdoor works like police, emergency services, government agencies, defense and field service workers. 

The 2-in-1 tablet is not cheap. It is priced at Rs. 2,70,000 before taxes. For the price, it packs high-end hardware into a rugged body. It boasts IP65 water and dust resistance and can survive bumps, drops, harsh environment and extremely cold weather. It also comes with a detachable keyboard and a IP55 rated digitzer pen compatible with Windows Ink feature.

As for the specifications, the Toughbook CF-33 sports 12-inch QHD (2160 x 1440 pixels) anti-reflective high brightness outdoor display and is powered by Intel Core i5-7300U vPro Kaby Lake processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro and has an 8MP rear camera and 2MP webcam on the front.

The tablet part comes with USB 3.0 port, 4G LTE, HDMI, LAN, microSDXC and headset ports, while the keyboard dock includes 2 x USB 3.0 port, USB 2.0 port, Serial port, LAN, HDMI, SDXC card reader and VGA ports. It packs two hot-swappable batteries that can extend the battery life.

The Toughbook CF-33 can be customized with I/O modules like second USB 2.0 port, Serial, Barcode Reader, Smartcard Reader, Contactless Smart Card Reader and a fingerprint reader.

Panasonic India outs Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700


Panasonic has launched two new budget smartphones in the country: the dual-camera toting Eluga Ray 500 and the battery centric Eluga Ray 700. Both are dual-SIM phones running Android Nougat, and supports 4G VoLTE. They also get fingerprint scanner, that's embedded into the home button.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray 500's main highlight is the dual-cameras consisting of 13MP f/2.0 + 8MP f/2.4 wide-angle sensors. For selfies there's 8MP f/2.4 front camera. It also gets a beefy battery capacity of 4000mAh. As for the other specs, the Eluga Ray 500 features 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display, 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via micro SD card.

The Panaosic Eluga Ray 700 on the other hands packs a beefy battery capacity of 5000mAh, which is likely to last two days on a single charge. It features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, that's expandable via microSD card. For photography it gets single PDAF assisted 13MP f/2.2 rear camera with LED flash, and 13MP f/2.2 front facing camera with a dedicated flash unit.

Coming to the pricing, the Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 are priced at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively, and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting today midnight. Both come in Mocha Gold, Marine Blue and Champagne Gold colors.

Panasonic P9 with 5-inch display, 4G VoLTE launched at Rs. 6,290


Panasonic is launching a new entry-level smartphone in India dubbed P9. Just like any other entry-level phones, the P9 supports 4G VoLTE, and runs Android Nougat out of the box.

The Panasonic P9 features 5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass on top, and is equipped with 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage and 2210mAh battery.

The camera department include 8MP f/2.0 rear camera with an LED flash, and 5MP f/2.4 front facing camera for selfies. It has dedicated slots for dual-SIMs and microSD card, and has Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity.

In the press release Panasonic said the P9 is "Targeted towards consumers who are always on the go, look for durability in display screen and want a smooth multitasking experience with the latest Android Nougat 7.0." 

Priced at Rs. 6,290, the Panasonic P9 will be available from offline stores across the country in Champagne Gold and Black colors.

Panasonic P77 new variant with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage launched for Rs. 5,299


Panasonic launched the entry-level 4G VoLTE enabled P77 smartphone in India back in September 2016 with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage for Rs. 6,990. Now the company is launching a new variant with double RAM and storage.

The new Panasonic P77 comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, and even a cheaper price tag of Rs. 5,299. Apart from the storage and RAM bump, the rest of specs including the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system remains unchanged.

It features 5-inch HD IPS display, 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 8MP/2MP cameras, 4G VoLTE, and 2000mAh battery. It also includes dual-SIM slots and a microSD card slot.

The new Panasonic P77 is exclusively available from Flipkart in White and Grey colors.

Panasonic launches Eluga I2 Active, price starts at Rs. 7,190


After releasing Eluga A3 and A3 Pro, Panasonic India is back with another Eluga series budget smartphone. Dubbed Eluga I2 Active, it runs Android Nougat out of the box, and supports 4G and VoLTE (voice over LTE).

The Eluga I2 Active features 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor backed by Mali T720 GPU. It comes with 16GB of expandable storage, and will be offered in two variants: 1GB or 2GB RAM.

For photography, It gets 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front shooter for selfies. It packs 2200mAh battery, and for connectivity supports hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The Panasonic Eluga I2 is priced at Rs. 7,190 for the 1GB RAM version and Rs. 7,990 for the 2GB RAM version, and comes in Gold, Rose Gold and Grey colors.

The Panasonic Eluga I2 Active comes in Gold, Rose Gold and Grey colors and is priced at Rs. 7,190 for the 1GB RAM version and the 2GB RAM version costs Rs. 7,990.

Panasonic launches A3 & A3 Pro with Android Nougat and 4000mAh battery


Panasonic is expanding its 'A' line up with the launch of A3 and A3 Pro smartphones. Both are dual-SIM phone running Android Nougat and includes a fingerprint scanner. They even share the same specs, except for the processor and storage.

The Panasonic A3 features 5.2-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragon Trail Glass protection, and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor backed by Mali T880 GPU and 3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB storage, which is expandable via microSD card.


The camera department includes 13MP PDAF assisted rear camera with an LED flash, and 8MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. It is fueled by 4000mAh battery, and comes with ARBO virtual assistant.

The A3 Pro on the other hand is equipped with 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor and 32GB internal storage. The rest of the specs are same as A3.

The Panasonic A3 and A3 Pro have been priced at Rs. 11,290 and Rs. 12,790 respectively, and will be available from August 10 across the country through Panasonic stores and retails stores. Color options are Mocha Gold, Gold and Grey.

Panasonic launches P55 Max with 5000mAh battery for Rs. 8,499


Panasonic has launched a new budget smartphone in India called P55 Max, that boasts almost the same specs as Moto E4 Plus. Like the Moto E4 Plus, the P55 Max, packs a beefy 5000mAh battery, which should give up to two days of run time, and also supports fast charging as well. However, it doesn't get a fingerprint scanner.

The Panasonic P55 Max features 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display and comes with 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor (w/ Mali T720 GPU), 3GB RAM and 16GB on-board storage, which can be increased via microSD card.

The camera department includes 13MP rear camera assisted by an LED flash, and 5MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device supports dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It ships with Android Nougat with a stock interface.

The Panasonic P55 Max is priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be exclusively available on Flipkart in Matte Black and Gold colors.

Panasonic is launching a new budget smartphone in India dubbed as he Eluga I3 Mega. It sports an all-metal body and comes with a beefy 4000mAh battery.

The Panasonic Eluga I3 Mega features 5.5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6735 processor with 3GB RAM. On-board storage capacity if 16GB, which can be further expanded via microSD card.

Panasonic launches 2017 line of 4K Ultra HD TVs in India


Panasonic India launched its new range of 4K Ultra HD TVs in the EX 750 and EX 600 series starting at Rs. 78,900, along with UA7 sound system. These include the flagship 65-inch EX750 3D (TH-65EX750D), 43-inch (TH-43EX600D), 49-inch (TH-49EX600D) and 55-inch (TH-55EX600D) 4K Ultra HD TVs. 

Panasonic's new 4K TV range feature a Switch design with swivel functionality that lets users to adjust the stand as per their preference and features 4K Hexa Chroma Drive Pro, which  provides a vivid color reproduction with a wide color range, resulting in an ultimate 4K viewing experience.

Starting with the flagship model, the EX750 has a 65-inch screen with a new Cinema Display and offers 550 nits brightness. It is powered by Studio Color HCX2 processor and is equipped with HDR 1000 and includes a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port, Bluetooth, WiFi and DLNA. It is also equipped with Chroma Drive Pro, that boosts the 4K experience with accurate color reproduction with a wide color range.

Moving to the lower priced models, the EX600 line of 4K TVs are equipped with 1300MHz processing, which allows them to handle fast moving action scenes with clarity. They include a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port and three HDMI ports.

Panasonic's hexagonal shaped UA7 all-in-one sound system comprises of four woofers, four tweeters and two super woofers, offering audio output of 1700W.  It will be offered for free with EX750 65-inch TV, and EX600's 55-inch and 49-inch TV.

The 65-inch EX750 TV is priced at Rs. 3,10,000 while the EX600 lines 55-, 49-, and 43-inch TVs are priced at Rs. 1,78,900, Rs. 1,41,000 and Rs. 78,900 respectively.

Panasonic Eluga Ray, P85 with 4000mAh battery, VoLTE launched


Panasonic has launched two new smartphones in India today, the Eluga Ray and P85. Both are budget smartphones running Android Marshmallow, supports 4G VoLTE, and comes with dual-SIM slots and beefy battery capacity.

Similar to Eluga Ray line-up's previous offerings, Eluga Ray X and Eluga Ray Max, the Eluga Ray comes with smart AI assistant called Arbo which tracks and learns your daily life activity patterns to provide suggestions. The smartphone sports a metal body and has a selfie flash and fingerprint scanner.

In terms of specification, the Eluga Ray features 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. For photography, it gets 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. Both rear and front camera include LED flash. A 4000mAh battery runs the show.



The P85 has 5-inch HD display, 1GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. It comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera for selfies and 4000mAh battery.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray is priced at Rs. 7,999 and comes in Space Grey, Gold and Rose Gold hues, while the Panasonic P85 carries a price tag of Rs. 6,499, and comes in Grey and Gold hues. Both will be available exclusivey through Flipkart starting May 15.

Panasonic launches Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X in India


Panasonic is launching two new smartphone in India called Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X, along with a smart AI assistant, Arbo.

According to Panasonic Arbo uses machine learning to provide intelligent usage suggestion to users. It learns the user's behavior, alongside time and location to offer profile-based suggestions, like prompting setting changes or highlighting most frequently used apps. The assistant will be available for the phones via an over-the-air update by the end of April.

Speaking of the phones, the Eluga Ray Max and Eluga Ray X sports unibody metal design with 2.5D curved glass (on the front) and Gorilla Glass 3 protection, runs Android Marshmallow and comes with fingerprint scanner, selfie flash, 4G, VoLTE and dual-SIM slots.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray Max features 5.2-inch Full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 430 chip backed by Adreno 505 GPU and 4GB RAM. It comes in 32GB and 64GB storage variants, and the storage is expandable via microSD card. For photography, there's 16MP PDAF rear camera with LED flash and 8MP selfie camera assisted by LED flash as well. A 3000mAh battery runs the show.

The Panasonic Eluga Ray X on the other end has 5.5-inch Full HD display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 chip (w/ Mali T720 GPU), 3GB RAM and 4000mAh battery. Storage capacity on-board is 32GB, and can be expanded via microSD card. The camera department includes 13MP rear camera with LED flash ad 5MP front camera with LED flash.

The 32GB version of Panasonic Eluga Ray Max is priced at Rs. 11,499, while the 64GB version costs Rs. 12,499. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting April 1 in Rose Gold, Space Grey and Gold color. The Eluga Ray X will set you back by Rs. 8,999, and will also be available exclusively via Flipkart. The phones will be offered in Rose Gold, Space Grey and Gold colors.

Panasonic outs Eluga Pure in Taiwan


Panasonic has expanded its Eluga line up with the launch of Eluga Pure in Taiwan. The mid-range phone riuns Android Marshmallow based FitHome and  boasts 8MP selfie camera with an LED flash to help you capture bright selfies in low light environments.

The Panasonic Eluga Pure features 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with Mali T720 and 2GB RAM. 

It comes with 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD, 13MP rear camera with LED flash and packs 2900mAh battery. For connectivity, there's 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Priced at NT$490 (Rs. 10,700), the Eluga Pure will go on sale in Taiwan starting March 27 in Titanium Grey color. There's no word regarding it launch in India at the moment.
