Oppo recently released A73 and A75 with full screen 18:9 display. Now it is adding one more to the portfolio, the A83, and it is Oppo's most affordable full screen 18:9 display offering. The phone was recently certified by TENAA, and has been now officially announced in China.
The Oppo A83 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by 2.5GHz octa-core Helio P23 processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card.
The camera department includes 13MP rear camera with an LED flash, and AI beauty technology backed 8MP selfie shooter. The phone lacks fingerprint scanner, but does support face unlock via the front facing camera.
It is fueled by 3180mAh battery and runs Android Nougat based ColorOS 3.2. It supports dual-SIMs, 4G VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth for connectivity.
The Oppo A83 carries a price tag of CNY 1399 ($212 | Rs. 13,600), and will be available in China from December 29 in Champagne Gold and Black hues.
Following the release of A73 in China, Oppo has announced A75, its latest full screen smartphone in Taiwan. The phone is an upgraded version of Oppo A73, and comes with improved selfie camera.
The Oppo A75 features 6-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2160 pixels) display with minimal bezels and 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. There's also another model with more storage dubbed Oppo A75s. It has 64GB on-board storage. The phone also supports microSD card for storage expansion.
For photography, there's 16MP f/1.8 rear camera assisted by and LED flash and AI Beautification technology backed 20MP f/2.0 front shooter. It runs Android Nougat based ColorOS 3.2 and is fueled by 3200mAh battery.
Among other features the Oppo A75 offers dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, face unlock and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner.
Coming to the pricing, the Oppo A75 carries a price tag of NTD 10,990 ($367 | Rs. 23,500) and the Oppo A75s will cost NTD 11,990 ($400 | Rs. 25,600) in Taiwan. It is available in Black and Gold color.
Oppo recently outed A73, which was basically a rebranded F5 Youth for the China market. Before that, the entry-level Oppo A83 was certified by China's TENAA, which is pending release. And now another A series Oppo phone dubbed A85 has also been certified by China's TENAA revealing the specs sheet.
All these phones have one thing in common: a full screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio, which has become widely adopted feature in phone now a days.
As per TENAA listing, the Oppo A85 seems to be an slightly updgraded model of Oppo A83. It has the same specs sheet as Oppo A85 but comes with double RAM and Storage.
The Oppo A83 was listed with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, whereas the new Oppo A85 has 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Other specs are same.
So the Oppo A85 will feature 5.7-inch HD+ display, 2.5GHz octa-core processor, 13MP/8MP cameras, 4G VoLTE ad 3090mAh battery. It will run Android Nougat based ColorOS 3.2. Also it lacks a fingerprint scanner.
Since TENAA has always been a reliable source of leaks, these are most likely to be the final specs of the Oppo A85. The listing also reveals that it will come in Gold and Black hues. However an announcement date is yet to be known.

The Oppo F5 arrived in India earlier this month in two RAM/storage variants: 4GB/32GB priced at Rs. 19,990 (Black and Gold colors), and 6GB/64GB priced at Rs. 24,990 (Black and Red color). Initially, the 4GB Oppo F5 went on sale in India a week later from the launch, and the 6GB RAM model was said to be released at a later date. Back in August, Oppo teamed up with Reliance Jio to offer up to 60GB additional data for select phones. Now the data benefits have been increased to up to 100GB. The extra data benefits are available for all Jio subscribers effective from October 27, 2017 till the validity of their Prime Membership ends.

Oppo has launched an upgraded model of its selfie-centric F3 Plus. To recollect, the F3 Plus was launched in India back in March with 4GB RAM. But the newly launched Oppo F3 Plus packs 6GB RAM. China based device maker Oppo is all set to launch its next selfie expert, the F5 in Philippines on October 26. The company has also confirmed that the F5 will make its way to India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam as well. Now we have the India launch date.
Oppo has sent out media invites for a launch event scheduled on November 2 to locally launch the F5.
The Oppo F5 will be Oppo's first smartphone to flaunt near bezel-less design, the one you see on Micromax's Canvas Infinity, Gionee M7, vivo X20, vivo V7+, Honor 7X, Honor 9i to name a few. It will feature Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Since, the bottom chin on the front is slim, the fingerprint scanner will be placed at the back.
Unlike its predecessor F3, which had dual selfie camera, the F5 will only have single camera at front and will be embedded with A.I Beauty Recognition technology. The technology uses A.I to recognize skin tone and type, gender and age of the subject within an image, and analyze environmental lighting condition, by referencing other facial images from a global photo database, to beautify the selfie shot. The selfie camera has self-learning capabilities to enhance each shot, as it captures more selfies.
These two information were confirmed by Oppo itself recently. Now coming to rumors, the Oppo F5 is said to have 6-inch display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 20MP rear camera, 16MP front camera and 4000mAh battery. It is likely to runs Android Nougat based Color OS.
