Oppo F5 Youth with 3GB RAM, 16MP selfie camera announced
Oppo launched the Oppo F5 last month featuring 6GB RAM, 64GB storage and 20MP selfie camera. Now it has released a toned down and affordable version called Oppo F5 Youth. It flaunts the same bezel-less design as Oppo F5, but comes with reduced RAM and storage, and downgraded camera sensors.
The Oppo F5 Youth features Gorilla Glass 5 protected 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display with minimal bezels, and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor. It gets 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
The camera departments includes 13MP f/2.2 rear camera assisted by an LED flash, and 16MP f/2.0 front facing camera with screen flash function and AI backed Beautification technology, that can scan 200 facial recognition spots to offer bokeh effects and beautify the selfie shot.
Connectivity options are dual-SIM slots (hybrid), 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It boots Android 7.1 Nougat based ColorOS 3.2 and is fueled by 3200mAh battery. It has fingerprint scanner on the back, but it also supports face unlock system as well.
The Oppo F5 Youth is now available in the Philippines for PHP 13,900 ($275 | Rs. 17,700) in Black and Gold. The phone is also expected to launch in India soon.
