MySmartPrice in collaboration with @OnLeaks have shared CAD based renders and 360-degree video of the device. As seen in the images, the Galaxy S9+ will have the same design as Galaxy S9, but will be larger and have dual-cameras at the back. When compared to its predecessor, there won't be any difference, but a few tweaks. Similar to the Galaxy S8+, the Galaxy S9+ will have a full screen Infinity display with minimal bezels at each sides. However, the bezels will be 0.1mm slimmer than it predecessor. The source claims that the Galaxy S9+ will sport 6.1-inch display and the phone's dimension are 157.7 x 73.8 x 8.5mm, which makes it 1.8mm smaller, 0.4mm wider and 0.4mm thicker than Galaxy S8+. The rear side has the dual-camera setup with fingerprint scanner placed below it, making it easier to reach. On the Galaxy S8, the sensor was placed next to the camera, and many users were not happy with this.
Speaking of other features, the top chin of the front panel houses selfie camera and a bunch of sensors. The secondary microphone and the SIM card/microSD card slot are at the top, the power button is at the right side, while the volume rocker and Bixby button are at the left. At the bottom, there's USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, loudspeaker and primary microphone. The Galaxy S9+ will share the same specs sheet as Galaxy S9, but come with 6GB RAM, a bigger battery and dual-camera. It will be powered by Exynos 9810 and Snapdragon 845 processor depending on the market, and ship with Android Oreo.

The USB Type-C port, speaker, volume rocker, power and Bixby button follow the same placement as Galaxy S8. Thankfully, 3.5mm audio jack is still present. Do note the render shows a single camera at the back, so the device shown in the image is Galaxy S9. The Galaxy S9+ is said to come with dual-cameras. It is said to come with 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack and AKG-powered stereo speakers. Before the grand unveiling of Galaxy S9/S9+, Samsung is expected to launch the 2018 edition of the mid-range Galaxy A and Galaxy J series phones. They have been part of several leaks for quite some time, but the latest leak is related to the Galaxy A (2018) models. Starting with the names of the Galaxy A8 (2018) models, the phones were earlier called Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018). However, the phones were recently spotted on Bluetooth Special Interest Group’s (Bluetooth SIG) online database, and revealed that the Galaxy A5 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) will launch as Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ respectively. Having said that, in the latest leak, a hands-on video of the Galaxy A8+ has hit the interweb which originates from Bangladesh. The video reveals the design and complete specs sheet of the Galaxy A8+. The Galaxy A series is known to bring the premium design of the flagship Galaxy S to the budget segment. And this time nothing has changed. As seen in the video, the Galaxy A8+ flaunts the Infinity display, which debut on the Galaxy S8. This means the phone will have minimal bezels on the sides, and a large screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. However, the phone has undergone some design tweaks. The Galaxy A8+ will have dual front facing camera, instead of single camera found on Galaxy S8. Also the fingerprint scanner at the rear panel will be located below the camera sensor, instead of being right of the camera.
The
design of the Galaxy A8 (2018) is likely to be same as Galaxy A8+, but
it is expected to come with a smaller display and slightly different specs sheet. For example smaller display, less
RAM.
Speaking about the specs, according to the source, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) will feature a large 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with minimal bezels on the sides, and 2200 x 1080p resolution. It will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, and also have features lie IP68 water and dust resistance, NFC, USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner and fast charging.
Meanwhile, the manual of Galaxy A8+ (2018) was spotted on Samsung website, which confirms some of the above details and a few more. Since the phone has two cameras at the front, the camera app will come with Live Focus feature for selfie and also get live stickers. Bixby will also be part of the device, but it will not have dedicated button. Other details the manual confirm is the presence of Infinity display, on-screen navigation, LED notification light, support for Samsung pay over NFC and MST and USB Type-C on Galaxy A8+. You can find the complete manual at this (link) . Currently it is not known when Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy A (2018) models. Samsung's upcoming flagship the Galaxy S9 and S9+ were rumored to be showcased at CES 2018, Las Vegas in January. Samsung however has trashed this rumor, which means we won't get a sneak peek of the Galaxy S9 line on the first week of January. The South Korean tech giant in a statement to Korea Hearald has dismissed the speculation saying it is unlikely. Instead the company is expected to stick with the tradition, and introduce the Galaxy S9 around MWC in late February or March. For reference, the Galaxy S8/S8+ were launched at a special event in New York City on March 29, 2017. Another rumor that was buzzing round the internet was the Galaxy S9/S9+ will have in-display fingerprint scanner. But in the report, Samsung has dismissed the speculations saying it is unlikely. According to earlier reports the Galaxy S9/Galaxy S9+ will get minor upgrades over its predecessors. Both will flaunt the same design as Galaxy S8 line, but the rear panel will undergo incremental changes. While the fingerprint scanner on Galaxy S8 was placed on the right side of the fingerprint scanner, in the Galaxy S9, the sensor is said to be placed under the camera module. Usually Samsung's both flagships are differentiated by screen size and battery capacity. But with Galaxy S9 the differences extend to RAM and camera setup. Just like Galaxy S8/S8+, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will have 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with slim bezels on the side. They will be powered by Snapdragon 845 and Exynos 9 series 9810 chips depending on the region. However, the Galaxy S9 will have 4GB RAM and single camera at the back, whereas the Galaxy S9+ will ship with 6GB RAM and dual-cameras. Both models will come with 64GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack and AKG-powered stereo speakers. Via

Taking mobile device storage solution to a new level, Samsung Electronics has announced that it has begun mass production of the industry's first 512GB eUFS (embedded Universal Flash Storage). The storage chip utilizes Samsung's 64-layer 512-gigabit (Gb) V-NAND chips to provide unparalleled storage capacity and outstanding performance for upcoming flagship smartphones and tablets. The 512GB eUFS consists of eight 64-layer 512Gb V-NAND chips and a controller chip,. which are stacked together. It also doubles the density of the previous 48-layer V-NAND-based 256GB eUFS in the same space as the 256GB package. For instance, the new 512GB eUFS enables a device to store approximately 130 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 px) video clips of 10 minute duration, compared to 13. For comparison, a 64GB chip can hold only 13 of the same-sized video clips. For reference, the Galaxy S8 and Note8 comes with 64GB internal storage. As for the performance, Samsung's 512Gb eUFS offers strong rear and write speeds. It has read speeds of up to 860MB/s and write speeds of 255MB/s. To transfer a 5GB Full HD video clip to an SSD, it will take about six seconds, which is over eight time faster than a typical microSD card. It also has a random read speed of 42,000 input/output operations per second (IOPS) and a write speed of 40,000 IOPS, which is over 400 times faster than a regular microSD card. With this, mobile users can enjoy seamless multimedia experiences such as high-resolution burst shooting, as well as file searching and video downloading in dual-app viewing mode. Samsung said that it will steadily increase an aggressive production volume for its 64-layer 512Gb V-NAND chips, in addition to expanding its 256Gb V-NAND production to meet the demand for advanced embedded mobile storage. Samsung's upcoming budget handset, the Galaxy J2 Pro 2018 was recently spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 Nougat on-board. At the back the rear camera and LED flash unit sits inside a pill shaped module, while the speaker is placed next to it.
