Deal: 32GB iPhone SE available at Rs. 17,999 on Amazon India


Apple launched the compact iPhone SE last year with prices starting from Rs. 39,000 for the 16GB model, and Rs. 44,000 for the 64GB storage model. However, earlier this year, Apple discontinued the 16GB model and replaced it with 32GB model. The new 32GB iPhone SE was priced at Rs. 26,000, making it the most affordable iPhone in Indian market.

And now the 32GB iPhone SE model has received a massive discount of Rs. 8,000, and is up grab at just Rs. 17,999, making it more affordable. Color options are Silver, Gold, Space Grey and Rose Gold. 

At the discounted price the 32GB iPhone SE is available on Amazon India. There's also exchange offer as well, where the e-tailer is offering up to Rs. 15,100 discount, when you trade in your old smartphone for a new iPhone SE. Additionally, EMI option is also available. Note that the price cut is not reflected on the Apple website and Flipkart, so the offer is exclusive to Amazon India only.

To recap the specs, the iPhone SE comes with 4-inch HD Retina display, Apple's A9 chip, 2GB RAM,  12MP iSight camera on the back, 1.2MP FaceTime camera and 4G VoLTE. It runs iOS 11 and promises 10 hours of battery life.

Price drop: Kodak Ektra now available for Rs. 9999 on Snapdeal


Popular photography brand Kodak launched the camera-centric Ektra smartphone in India back in July this year for Rs. 19,990. Now almost five months later Kodak has announced a massive price cut of  Rs. 10,000 on the phone. This shows Kodak has been struggling to sell the phone, and is betting on the price cut to clear stocks.

With the price cut applied, the Kodak Ektra will be up for grabs at a reduced price of Rs. 9,999, and will be available online exclusively on Snapdeal.

The Ektra is named after Kodak's innovative and feature loaded 35mm camera from 1941. The phone has a huge camera lens at the back featuring 21MP Sony IMX230 unit with f/2.0 aperture, 6-axis OIS, PDAF, non-reflective leans coating, ISO, accompanied by dual-tone LED flash. For selfies you get a 13MP camera featuring f/2.2 aperture and PDAF.

It boasts DSLR-like modes and features like Smart Auto, Portrait, Manual, Sports, Bokeh, Night-time, HDR, Panorama, Macro, Landscape, and 4K Video Capture. It also has an advanced customizable manual mode that allows users to adjust exposure, ISO, focal length (Manual/Auto), white balance, shutter speed, and aperture (fixed f2.0 main camera).

It also has a dedicated shutter button, and the camera lens are protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass. It sports a leather-like finish on the outside for a better grip. It also comes with a widget with Kodak-curated app recommendations such as  Google's Snapspeed, Adobe Lightroom, VSCO and Prisma. It also comes pre-loaded with Super 8 app for applying effects similar to Kodak’s Super 8 films.

Xiaomi India Mi Home No. 1 Mi Fan Sale: Discounts on smartphones and accessories till January 1, 2018


Xiaomi India recently conducted No.1 Mi Fan sale online on December 20 and 21. Now the Chinese device maker is back with another sale, but this time at their Mi Home store, where it is offering discounts on smartphones and accessories.

For the unaware Xiaomi Mi Home store are physical stores where you can experience and buy Xiaomi products. There are total 15  Mi Home stores in the country spread across  Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune.

The sale is now live and will run till January 1, 2018.

In addition, during the sale period, the Mi Home stores will have a wishbox. Customers purchasing products from Mi Home can write a list of items they wish for and put in the wishbox. Xiaomi will pick up five winners and fullfil their wishes.

Price drop: Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL starts at Rs. 49,999 and Rs. 67,999 respectively for a limited time


The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have their share of problems, but still are said to be one of the best flagship phones out there to experience the best of Android operating system.

The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 61,000 and Rs. 73,000 respectively. The 128GB model of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were priced at Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 82,000 respectively.

And now just in time Christmas, Google has announced discount of up to Rs. 11,000 on these phones for a limited time.

Price drop: Sony Xperia XZs gets massive price cut


The Sony Xperia XZs was launched in India back in April this year for Rs. 49,990. And now it has a massive price cut of Rs. 13,600 on Amazon India.

With the price cut applied the Xperia XZs is available for  Rs. 36,399 on Amazon India. Note that this price cut is for the Black color variant. The Ice Blue and Warm Silver Xperia XZs are priced at Rs. 37,740 and Rs. 37,495 respectively.

Having said that the Xperia XZs was originally launched as a Flipkart exclusive, and currently, the Indian e-commerce giant is offering all the color variants of Xperia XZs at Rs. 39,990.

The Sony Xperia XZs was the world's first smartphone to boast Motion Eye camera, which offer super slow motion video and Predictive Capture. The Motion Eye camera is capable of shooting 960fps video slow motion video, which allows slowing time 4x slower than the current camera phones standard.

Price drop: Gionee A1 Plus and A1 Lite gets up to Rs. 3000 price cut


The Gione A1 Plus and A1 Lite were launched in India for Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 14,999 respectively. Now both the phones have received up to Rs. 3,000 price cut.

The Gionee A1 Plus has received a price cut of Rs. 3,000, and is now available at Rs. 23,999, whereas, the Gionee A1 Lite is now priced at Rs. 13,999, after Rs. 1,000 price cut. At the discounted rates, both are available from offline mobile stores. However, the Gionee A1 Lite is also available on Amazon India for as low as Rs. 12,7999.

To sweeten the deal further, customers who buy the Gionee A1 Plus will get 10GB additional data per month for six months on a recharge of Rs. 309 from Reliance Jio. Gionee A1 Plus buyers will get 10GB additional data per month for six months on any data recharge of 1GB and above from Airtel.

Deal: Honor 8 Pro, Honor 6X gets up to Rs. 4000 discount for a limited time


Honor has announced a price cut of up to Rs. 4000 on Honor 6X and Honor 8 Pro in India. This is a limited period offer starting today exclusively on Amazon India and ends on December 19.

The Honor 6X comes in two variants and were currently selling at Rs. 11,999 for the 3GB/32GB model and Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB/64GB model. Now both models have received Rs. 2000 price cut, and are available at Rs. 9999 and Rs. 11,999 respectively.

Price drop: vivo V5s now available for Rs. 15,990


Vivo's selfie-centric V5s has received Rs. 2,000 permanent price cut in India according to Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom.

To remind you, the V5s was launched in April this year priced at Rs. 18,990 and was available in Matte Black and Crown Gold hues. Later in July vivo released the Energetic Blue V5s for Rs. 17,990, and even started selling the other color variant at the same reduced price.

Now with the Rs. 2,000 price cut applied, the vivo V5s can be picked up for Rs. 15,990 from offline stores.

The vivo V5s flaunts 20MP Sony IMX376 selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It has front facing selfie flash called Moonlight Flash to deliver quality selfies in low-light environments. For the regular photos, there's 13MP f/2.2 camera at the back with LED flash and PDAF.

Deal: Pixel 2 XL receives Rs. 8000 limited time price cut in India


Google's latest and greatest Pixel 2 XL was launched in India in October this year, starting at Rs. 73,000 for the 64GB storage model, and Rs. 82,000 for the 128GB storage model. However, now the phone's both variants have reportedly got a price cut.

According to Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the Pixel 2 XL 64GB and 128GB storage models price has been dropped by Rs. 8,000 for a limited time are now up for grabs at Rs. 64,999 and Rs. 73,999 respectively. The offer is valid from December 9 to 31, and there's also an additional cash back of Rs. 8,000 on HDFC credit card EMI transaction.

To recollect the specifications, the Pixel 2 XL features 6-inch QHD+ pOLED 18:9 display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 12.2 MP dual-Pixel camera with OIS, 8MP front camera, 3520mAh battery and fingerprint scanner.

Other notable features are IP67 water and dust resistance; Active Edge function, which allows users to squeeze the phone to launch Google Assistant; USB Type-C port; NFC; Bluetooth 5.0; E-SIM slot; and pure Android 8.0 Oreo experience. Price drop: Xiaomi Mi A1 gets Rs. 1000 permanent price cut, now available for Rs. 13,999


The Xiaomi Mi A1 is currently one of the best smartphone under Rs. 15,000 boasting stock Android and dual-camera setup. It made its debut in India in September this year for Rs. 14,999 as a Flipkart exclusive, and recently was selling for Rs. 12,999 for limited period during Flipkart's Big Shopping days sale (December 7-9).

However, now Xiaomi has announced a permanent price cut of Rs. 1,000 on the Mi A1. With the price cut into effect, the Xiaomi Mi A1 will be up for grabs at Rs. 13,999. 

At the new reduced price the Mi A1 will be available via Mi.com, Flipkart, physical Mi Home stores, and other offline mobile stores.

To recollect, the Mi A1 is Xiaomi's first Android One device running stock Android instead of MIUI. The phone has been receiving regular security updates till date, and will soon get Android Oreo as well. It currently runs Android Nougat of the box, and apart from Oreo, Xiaomi also promised update to Android P.

In terms of specifications, the Mi A1 has 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C, fingerprint scanner and 3080mAh battery.

It comes with dual-camera setup at the rear consisting of two 12MP sensor, one with wide angle lens, and the other with telephoto lens. Both work together to deliver portrait shots. For selfie you're getting 5MP shooter on the front.

In addition the e-tailer is also offering extra 10 percent instant discount for purchases made via SBI credit cards, and five percent discount with Axis Bank Buzz credit cards. The deal will expire on December 9.

To recollect, the Mi Mix 2 boasts a bezel less design with zero bezels on all the sides at the front resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of whooping 95 percent.

In terms of specifications, the Mi Mix 2 features 5.99-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, 6GB and 128GB internal storage. 

The camera department includes a 12MP Sony IMX386 camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4-axis OIS, dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording. The selfie shooter on the front is a 5MP sensor. In addition to the rear mounted fingerprint scanner, the Mi MIX 2 gets 3D facial recognition for id-ing the face to unlock the device. 

For software, the Mi MIX 2 runs Android 7.1 Nougat based MIUI 9, and for connectivity supports dual-SIM slots 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C. It  is fueled by 3400mAh battery, and supports fast charging via Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging.

Grab the Xiaomi Mi A1 for Rs. 12,999 during Flipkart’s Big Shopping Days Sale


The Android One based Xiaomi Mi A1 featuring stock Android and dual-cameras was launched in India in September this year for Rs. 14,999. Now Xiaomi has announced a temporary price cut of Rs. 2,000 on the Mi A1. 

During Flipkart's Big Shopping Days sale, the Xiaomi Mi A1 will be available for purchase at a reduced price of Rs. 12,999. The sale will go live on December 7, and run till December 9.

To recollect, the Xiaomi Mi A1 features 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass protection and comes with octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of expandable storage, 12MP dual-camera (wide-angle lens + telephoto lens), 5MP selfie camera, fingerprint scanner and 3080mAh battery. 

It supports 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM slots, USB Type-C and runs stock Android Nougat of the box, and is upgradable to Android Oreo (yet to be).
