Sadly there's no 3.5mm audio jack on these phones, so you will have to use USB Type-C enabled audio headphones.
The second generation Pixel phones will be unveiled tomorrow, October 4, and just one day before, official press renders of the phones have hit the interwebs. The renders leaked earlier showed only the back of the Pixel 2 phones, but the latest ones shared by Evan Blass, shows the front side as well.
Like last year's Pixel, the smaller Pixel 2 will be manufactured by HTC and follow the same design languages. The Pixel 2 XL on the other hand is manufactured by LG, and will have near bezel-less design and 18:9 aspect ratio display, but not edge-to-edge screen. In-fact the side bezels are larger compared to those on LG G6/V30 and Galaxy S8/Note8. The renders also show the front facing stereo speakers.
A look at the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL's home screen, the Search Bar has been relocated from the top to bottom of the screens below the icons. Like Android Nougat, the app icons are rounded. Also there is a new widget on the top that in addition to time shows the current weather and user's next appointment.
According to sources Pixel 2 will have 5-inch Full HD display with the standard 16:9 aspect ratio and 2700mAh battery, while the Pixel XL 2 will flaunt 6-inch QHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 3520mAh battery. Both will feature Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage options, fingerprint scanner and 12MP camera.
They will run Android Oreo out of the box. Other rumored feature are IP68 water and dust resistance, HTC U11-like squeezable frame called Active Edge, no headphone jack, USB Type-C port and E-SIM slot.
Earlier a report from Droid Life claimed that the Pixel 2 64GB and 128GB models will be priced at $649 (Rs. 42,000) and $749 (Rs. 49,000) respectively, and Pixel 2 XL will cost $849 (Rs. 56,000) for the 64GB model, and $949 (Rs. 62,000) for the 128GB model. Evan Blass adds that the Pixel 2 will hit the market on October 19, while Pixel 2 XL will roll out starting November 15.

Every year, Google announces its devices in October and this time it is no different. Last year, Google unveiled the Pixel phones on October 6, and according to Evan Blass this years Pixel 2 line up (Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL) will be introduced on October 5.
Blass further mentioned that Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 will utilize a tweaked version of Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform called Snapdragon 836 chip.
A recent FCC filing has confirmed that the smaller Pixel 2 will be manufactured by HTC, while LG is expected to build the larger Pixel XL 2. Both the Pixel 2 phone will have an unique feature.
The Pixel 2 is expected to feature 4.97-inch Full HD OLED display, and include HTC U11 like-squeezable frame. Sadly there's no headphone jack, but gets front-facing stereo speakers.
While the smaller Pixel 2 have thick bezels on top and bottom, the larger Pixel 2 XL will have a near bezel-less design, similar to Galaxy S8/S8+ and LG G6. It is expected to feature 5.99-inch QHD OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
Apart from Pixel 2 device, Google is rumored to announce a pair of headphone with Google Assistant built-in, a new Chromebook Pixel convertible, and Amazon Echo Dot like smaller Google Home speaker.

Google is reportedly working on the next gen Pixel phones. Similar to last year, there will be two Pixel phones, Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 and are codenamed walleye and taimen. Even though the Pixel XL 2 is the direct successor of Pixel XL, it will come with a bigger display.
Now Android Police has shared an alleged render of the Pixel XL 2 giving us a good look at the device and has revealed some interesting details.
As seen in the render the Google Pixel XL 2 will get a new design with very slim bezels, however, it will retain the same two-tone glass and metal combo at the rear. In the first Pixel phones, the camera module and fingerprint sensor were located on the glass housing. But in the Pixel XL 2, only the camera is housed in the glass section, while the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the metal housing.
The source suggests that Pixel XL 2 will sport 6-inch bezel-less AMOLED display made by LG, and have an aspect ratio of 2:1, similar to Galaxy S8 line and LG G6. Even though it appears to have curved edges on both sides, the screen is flat. Interestingly, the device is said to feature squeezable frame, just like HTC's U11 flagship, so you can squeeze the sides to interact with it.
Earlier rumors have suggested that Pixel XL 2 will have QHD display, Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, 4GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, and 3.5mm audio jack. There is no doubt, it will ship with Google's latest Android 8.0 O software.
Google usually unveils its mobile devices in October, so the Pixel 2 line is most likely to be presented during the same time frame.
