Gionee has launched a toned down version of its flagship S10 in India called S10 Lite. It is basically a rebranded S10C, which was introduced in China back in May.
In terms of specification, the Gionee S10 Lite features 5.2-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 427 processor paired to Adreno 308 GPU and 4GB RAM. It comes with 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
For photography, it ships with 13MP f/2.0 rear camera with an LED flash, and 16MP f/2.0 front shooter also assisted by an LED flash. It runs Android Nougat based AmigoOS 4.0 and supports dual-SIMs (hybrid slot), 4G VoLTE, WiFi and Bluetooth. It is fueled by a 3100mAh battery, and includes a fingerprint scanner, that's embedded into the home button.
The Gionee S10 Lite is priced ridiculously at Rs. 15,999, and will be available via offline mobile stores across the country from tomorrow December 23 in Gold and Black colors. At this price you can buy the Moto G5S Plus, Honor 7X, Xiaomi Mi A1 or Nokia 6 which offer better specs sheet.
The Gione A1 Plus and A1 Lite were launched in India for Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 14,999 respectively. Now both the phones have received up to Rs. 3,000 price cut.
The Gionee A1 Plus has received a price cut of Rs. 3,000, and is now available at Rs. 23,999, whereas, the Gionee A1 Lite is now priced at Rs. 13,999, after Rs. 1,000 price cut. Samsung just introduced its latest premium looking Android powered flip phone, the W2018. But it is not only just Samsung, but Gionee, who is known for its bold smartphone design also makes luxury flip phone.
The China based smartphone maker last year unveiled the W909 flip phone boasting dual displays and flagship level specs. And now it appears that, Gionee will soon be out with a brand new flip phone. The upcoming Gionee W919 has been certified by China's TENAA revealing the phone's specs and design.
As seen in the renders, the Gionee W919 will have two display, one on the outside, and other is inside when you flip the phone open, accompanied by keypad. It has gold plated rivets on the front, back and sides, the the rear cover is made of calfskin leather. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back.
Coming to the specs, according to TENAA listing the Gionee W919 will feature dual 4.2-inch HD display, 2.5GHz octa-core processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB inbuilt storage, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front facing camera and 3000mAh battery. It will run Android Nougat out of the box.
Unfortunately, there is no news when Gionee will make the W919 official, but since it has passed through TENAA, an official announcement can be expected in the coming days.

Beside the S11, S11S and S11 Lite, Gionee also introduced its flagship model the M7 Plus in China, along with its toned down version M7 Mini (or Golden 3). These two are also bezel-less phones with a large display carrying 18:9 aspect ratio. But the Gionee M7 Plus has a more premium look. Additionally the China based device maker announced F205 as well, an entry-level bezel-less phone.

The dual-SIM phone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, and supports microSD card, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth and WiFi for connectivity. It is fueled by 2670mAh battery. No fingerprint scanner here also.
Coming to the pricing the M7 Plus has been priced at CNY 4399 ($666 | Rs. 43,000) and will be available from January 2018 in Gold and Blue colors. The M7 Mini (Golden 3) carries a price tag of CNY 1399 ($212 | Rs. 13,600) and will also be available from January 2018 in only Gold color. The Gionee F205 will be available from December 2017 for CNY 999 ($151 | Rs. 10,000).
As expected, Gionee at an event in home market China on Sunday, November 26, unveiled its winter 2017 line up. Next is the Gionee S11, and it is equipped 5.99-inch Full HD+ IPS display, octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and 3410mAh battery. For photography, it gets 16MP+8MP dual rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, and 16MP+5MP front facing camera.
Lastly, the Gionee S11 Lite, as the name suggests is a souped down and affordable version of the S11, and will release in international market as Gionee F6. It comes with 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It gets 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras and 16MP front facing camera, while a 3030mAh battery keeps the lights on.
Coming to the pricing, the Gionee S11S has been priced at CNY 3299 ($500 | Rs. 32,000) and will be available from December 2017 in Gold and Platinum colors. The Gionee S11 will be available from December 2017 at CNY 1799 ($272 | Rs. 17,500) in Blue, Gold and Rose colors. The Gionee S11 Lite/F6 comes in Gold, Dark Blue and Black colors, and will hit the market in January 2018 for CNY 1299 ($197 | Rs. 13,000).
The other day, Gionee's upcoming M7 Plus phone was spotted on China's TENAA. However, only the renders of the devices were posted, and the specs were not shared. That said, TENAA has now posted the complete specs sheet.
As per the listing, the Gionee M7 Plus will feature 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 660 octa-core chip, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage with microSD card support and a massive 5000mAh battery. Gionee has scheduled an event in China on November 26, where it will introduce eight smartphones with near bezel-less design as part of its Winter 2017 line up. Last month two near bezel-less phones, the Gionee S11 (Link) and F6 (Link) were spotted on TENAA, that's likely to be part of the winter line up, and now another such phone has hit TENAA.
The Gionee M7 Plus which is the third member for the Gionee M7 family was spotted on China's TENAA. Unfortunately, the certification website has only posted the render of M7 Plus and not the specs.
As seen in the render, the M7 Plus will have a bezel less design for a full screen display, metal frame and leather-like back for a premium look. It also has rear mounted dual-camera system and fingerprint scanner. The same device was earlier leaked in live images courtesy of Evan Blass.
Even though TENAA has not posted specs sheet, thankfully, the M7 Plus was run through AnTuTu and GFXBench platforms, revealing key specs.

As expected, Gionee has launched the M7 Power in India featuring a near bezel-less design and a beefy battery capacity. It has been priced at Rs. 16,999 and will be available for purchase starting November 25 on Amazon India in Gold (w/ laser-engraved finish), Black and Dark Blue (w/ laser-drilled finish) colors.
However, pre-orders will go live on November 17 till November 24, and customers pre-booking the device will get six month warranty for free one-time screen replacement, extra Rs. 3,000 off on exchange, and 10GB additional data per month for 10 months from Jio on recharge of Rs. 309 and more. The main highlight of the phone is its design and battery capacity. The Gionee M7 Power packs a massive 5000mAh battery, which is likely to last for three or four days on a single charge. China's Gionee and Huawei's sub-brand Honor will soon bring budget bezel-less phones to the Indian smartphone market: Gionee M7 Power and Honor 7X. While the Gionee M7 Power is a battery-centric device, the Honor 7X puts the focus on camera.
Starting with Honor 7X, the company aims to strengthen its position in the Indian smartphone market with this phone. The brand is very popular in China and Europe, but has been struggling in India due to high competition from Xiaomi, Samsung, Motorola, Oppo and vivo.
That said, Huawei, Global President George Zhao speaking to IANS said that the company "wants to take the Indian smartphone market by storm with some innovative and trend-setting products and become the country’s top smartphone brand within three years". To achieve this Huawei plans to push its position in the market by lunching flagship products at "unbeatable price", introduce cutting edge technologies (like A.I), expand presence in both online and offline channels and boost marketing efforts.
Zhao also said that the company will launch the Honor 7X at such a price that it will have no competitor in that segment. Speaking of the specs, the Honor 7X's focus is on photography. It features dual-cameras consisting of 16MP+2MP sensor. It also has a near bezel-less design and sports 5.93-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display.
Other specs include octa-core Kirin 659 chip, 4GB RAM, 8MP selfie camera, 4G VoLTE, fingerprint scanner and 3340mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1, and comes in three storage variants: 32GB/64GB/128GB. The phone is priced at an equivalent of Rs. 13,000 in China. The Honor 7X will be launched in December and will also be sold through offline mobile stores.
Next is the Gionee M7 Power, it will be launched in India later this month. A mid-range bezel-less smartphone from Gionee dubbed F6 has been Certified by China's TENAA. However, only the specs of the phone has been listed and the renders are yet to be posted.
As per the listing, the Gionee F6 will sport 5.7-inch HD+ display with 18:9 ratio. This means the phone is likely to have a bezel-less design, just like the previously released Gionee M7 & M7 Power.
The listing further reveals that F6 will be equipped with 1.4GHz octa-core processor, 3GB or 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and 2970mAh battery. It will have 13MP+2MP dual cameras at the back and 8MP front camera.

Apart from F6, Gionee is also expected to launch the flagship S1 with a bezel-less design, 6.01 Full HD+ display, 6GB RAM and dual front and rear cameras. However, it is not known when these phones will be officially announced.

Two days back Gionne introduced its first near-bezel less smartphone M7 in China alongside the battery-centric Steel 2 Plus, which it said will be be released in Global markets under the moniker M7 Power.
Today the Chinese device maker has introduced the M7 Power for the global maket starting with Thailand. It has been priced at 9990 Thai Baht ($299 | Rs. 20,000), and will go on sale soon in the country in Dark Blue, Black and Gold. Other markets where M7 Power is expected to launch include India, Nepal, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia.

The Big Gold Steel 2 will be available from September 30 for CNY 1999 ($300 | Rs. 20,000) in Blue, Black and Gold colors.

Gionee is all set to join the bezel-less party with its upcoming flagship smartphone. For photography, it gets 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 20MP front facing camera along with selfie flash. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Gionee has released a new OTA update to the selfie-centric A1, that brings enhancements to the selfie camera, which is device's main highlight.
Previously, panoramic feature was restricted only to the rear camera, but now users get the option to take panoramic selfies using the front camera. This means you can take panoramic group selfies easliy by fitting in lot of people in the frame. Now you can also take selfie videos in Full HD (1080p) resolution as well. In addition, the update also adds "visual guidance" to enhance photography experience.
Last months update added support for new language and Bokeh-selfie functions allowing you to add out-of-focus blur in a photography.
For a quick refresh of the specs, the Gionee A1 features 5.5-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio p10 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, 13MP rear camera, 16MP seflies camera, fingerprint scanner and 4010mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat based Amigo 4.0 UI.
The Gionee A1 was launched in India for Rs. 19,999, and is now available for as low as Rs. 16,999.

In a bid to expand its smartphone sales, Gionee India is teaming up with PayTm and Reliance Jio to offer deals on its smartphones. For the Jio offer, customers who bought eligible Gionee smartphones after June 16 will get up to 60GB free Jio data as part of "Jio-Gionee Additional Data" offer.
Buyers
of the eligible smartphones will get additional 4G data from Jio for a maximum of
six recharge cycle of Rs. 309 and above, and have to be done on or
before March 31, 2018.
Gionee and Jio has divided eligible smartphones into three groups:
- Group 1 ― Gionee P5L and Gionee P7 ― 2GB 4G data voucher per recharge of Rs 309 and above for six months.
- Group 2 ― Gionee Elife S6, Gionee Elife S7, Gionee Marathon M5, Gionee S Plus, Gionee S6s, F103 pro, Gionee M5 lite CDMA, Gionee Marathon M4 , Gionee Marathon M5 Lite, Gionee P7 max, Gionee F103 ― 5GB of 4G data per recharge
- Group 3 ― Gionee A1, Gionee M5Plus, Gionee S6Pro, Gionee Elife E8 ― 10GB of 4G data per recharge
For the PayTm offer, customers can get two PayTm cashback vouchers worth Rs. 250 each on purchase of Gionee A1 or Gionee P7 max. Each voice ensures Rs. 250 caskback into the customer's Paytm wallet on a minimum purchase of INR 350 on Paytm Mall.
