Gionee M7 Plus, M7 Mini, F205 with FullView display announced


Beside the S11, S11S and S11 Lite, Gionee also introduced its flagship model the M7 Plus in China, along with its toned down version M7 Mini (or Golden 3). These two are also bezel-less phones with a large display carrying 18:9 aspect ratio. But the Gionee M7 Plus has a more premium look. Additionally the China based device maker announced F205 as well, an entry-level bezel-less phone.

The M7 Plus boasts a unique premium design boasting large bezel free display, metal frame and leather like back, and measures 8.7mm around the waist and weighs 241g. The phone's fingerprint scanner, dual-camera and LED flash module are placed inside a metal plate at the back.

In terms of specifications, the M7 Plus sports 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The camera department has 16MP f/1.8 + 8MP dual rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 8MP front shooter. 

It runs Android Nougat based Amigo OS 5.0 and supports dual-SIM (hybrid slot), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC and GPS connectivity. A beefy 5000mAh battery runs the show, and the phone supports fast charging as well as wireless charging. 


Next is the Gionee M7 Mini, a mid-range phone, and it features 5.5-inch Full HD+ display, 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage and 4000mAh battery. It gets single camera at the back housing a 8MP unit accompanied by an LED flash and 8MP front facing camera. It also runs Android Nougat based AmigoOS 5.0 and supports WiFi, dual-SIMs (hybrid slot), 4G VoLTE and Bluetooth. Fingerprint scanner is not available here.


Lastly the Gionee F205 comes with 5.45-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor and boots Android Nougat based Amigo OS 5.0. The dual-SIM phone comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, and supports microSD card, dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth and WiFi for connectivity. It is fueled by 2670mAh battery. No fingerprint scanner here also.

Coming to the pricing the M7 Plus has been priced at CNY 4399 ($666 | Rs. 43,000) and will be available from January 2018 in Gold and Blue colors. The M7 Mini (Golden 3) carries a price tag of CNY 1399 ($212 | Rs. 13,600) and will also be available from January 2018 in only Gold color. The Gionee F205 will be available from December 2017 for CNY 999 ($151 | Rs. 10,000).
