Home bred device maker, M-tech has launched Eros Plus, the company's latest budget phone featuring 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM and Android Nougat. However, the specs are on lower-end side. That said, the phone is aimed at first time smartphone user who prefer local brand over international.
The M-tech Eros Plus features 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor further aided by 1GB RAM. It runs Android Nougat and houses 8GB internal storage with microSD card support for expanding the storage.
It gets 5MP rear camera with an LED flash and 0.3MP or VGA front facing camera. The phone also supports FM Radio, Bluetooth and WiFi, and is fueled by a 2000mAh battery, which promises up to 7.5 hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby time on a single charge.
M-tech is selling the Eros Plus in three colors, Rose Gold, Gold and Grey, and the price tag it carries is Rs. 4,299. the phone can be purchased from both online and offline stores.

As expected, Huawei sub-brand Honor has officially announced its latest flagship, the Honor V10 in China. Thanks to leaks we already knew what to expect from the phone.
The Honor V10 flaunts the now trending bezel-free design and a large display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has no bezels on the side, and minimal bezels on top and bottom, , so the display covers most of the front panel. Unlike most bezel-less phone, which has rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Honor has managed to place a home button at the lower chin, that houses the fingerprint sensor.
In terms of specifications, the Honor V10 features 5.9-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by octa-core Kirin 970 processor, which is aided by a dedicated NPU (neural processing unit) processor for enhanced A.I capabilities. Honor will offer the V10 in three RAM/storage configurations: 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB and 64GB/128GB. The storage is expandable via microSD card.
It ships with dual-rear camera, that consists of a 16MP RGB sensor and 20MP monochrome sensor, and the cameras work in tandem with neural processing unit to offer real-time scene and object recognition functionality as well as automatically choose the best camera settings for any environment or focal point for enhanced photography experience. The phone is now available for order in China in Black, Aurora Blue, Gold and Red colors, and will go on sale starting December 5. India based technology company Salora is back in the smartphone market after a gap of almost three years with a new budget Android device called Salora Arya Z4. The dual-SIM phone is designed for first-time smartphone users, priced under Rs. 5,000 and offers 4G VoLTE support, Android Nougat and low-end specs.
In terms of specs, the Arya Z4 features 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor, and comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

Beside the S11, S11S and S11 Lite, Gionee also introduced its flagship model the M7 Plus in China, along with its toned down version M7 Mini (or Golden 3). These two are also bezel-less phones with a large display carrying 18:9 aspect ratio. But the Gionee M7 Plus has a more premium look. Additionally the China based device maker announced F205 as well, an entry-level bezel-less phone.
The M7 Plus boasts a unique premium design boasting large bezel free display, metal frame and leather like back, and measures 8.7mm around the waist and weighs 241g. The phone's fingerprint scanner, dual-camera and LED flash module are placed inside a metal plate at the back.
In terms of specifications, the M7 Plus sports 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage. As expected, Gionee at an event in home market China on Sunday, November 26, unveiled its winter 2017 line up. These include Gionee S11, S11s, S11 Lite, M7 Plus, M7 Lite and F205, as well as the recently released M7 and M7 Power, and all of them boast a near bezel-less design. In this post, details about the Gionee S11, S11s and S11 Lite will be revealed.
As you can see from the render, all the three new S series phone sports a bezel-less design and a large FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Lastly, the Gionee S11 Lite, as the name suggests is a souped down and affordable version of the S11, and will release in international market as Gionee F6. It comes with 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It gets 13MP+2MP dual rear cameras and 16MP front facing camera, while a 3030mAh battery keeps the lights on.
Coming to the pricing, the Gionee S11S has been priced at CNY 3299 ($500 | Rs. 32,000) and will be available from December 2017 in Gold and Platinum colors. The Gionee S11 will be available from December 2017 at CNY 1799 ($272 | Rs. 17,500) in Blue, Gold and Rose colors. The Gionee S11 Lite/F6 comes in Gold, Dark Blue and Black colors, and will hit the market in January 2018 for CNY 1299 ($197 | Rs. 13,000).
Karbonn has listed a new budget smartphone called Yuva 2 on their website with complete specs sheet, but did not list the pricing. It is expected to be launched in the coming days.
As for the specs, the Yuva 2 runs Android Nougat out of the box and is powered by 1.25GHz quad-core processor. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
The dual-SIM phone sports 5-inch HD display, and ships with 5MP rear camera with an LED flash, and 3.2MP selfie camera. The camera app offers features like panorama shot, face beauty, night mode, face detection, self timer, add watermark, professional mode, image filters, mirror reflection and HDR.

Oppo launched the Oppo F5 last month featuring 6GB RAM, 64GB storage and 20MP selfie camera. Now it has released a toned down and affordable version called Oppo F5 Youth. It flaunts the same bezel-less design as Oppo F5, but comes with reduced RAM and storage, and downgraded camera sensors.
The Oppo F5 Youth features Gorilla Glass 5 protected 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display with minimal bezels, and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor. It gets 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

Oppo is expanding its bezel-less phone offering with the addition of Oppo A79. The phone has been announced in China, and appears to be a toned down version of Oppo F5 with a different front camera sensor and slightly smaller battery. Everything else is same including the design.
Just like the Oppo F5, the new A79 sports a near bezel-less design with minimal bezels at sides and slim bezels on the top and bottom for screen-to-body ratio of 83 percent and to house a large screen with 18:9 aspect ratio. As a result, the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back.
In terms of specification, the Oppo A79 boots Android Nougat based ColorOS 3.2 and is equipped with 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card. It sports 6.01-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED FullScreen display and is fueled by 3000mAh batter. Xiaomi unveiled the second generation of its bezel-less Mi MIX smartphone dubbed Mi MIX 2 in China back in September. Initially it was offered in two color variants: a ceramic version with aluminum alloy frame and special edition all ceramic variant, which comes in White only.
However, now Xiaomi has launched the Black variant of the all-ceramic model in China. In addition, it also launched a limited edition — the Mi Mix 2 Starck Edition, which comes with ‘Starck’ inscribed on the back panel. It's worth mentioning that the Mi MIX line up has been designed by Philippe Starck.
According to Xiaomi, the body of the fully ceramic edition goes through a number of tests to ensure the device meets the desire standard. First it is put through a temperature test up to 1400 degree Celsius and then a strength test of up to 240 tons.
The new Mi MIX 2 all-ceramic Black and Starck editions comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The pricing of the Mi MIX 2 Ceramic Black version is same as the White version at CNY 4699 ($713 | Rs 46,000), while the Mi MIX 2 Starck Edition will set you back by CNY 4999 ($758 | Rs. 49,000). They will go on sale in China starting November 28.

Xiaomi teamed up with Google to launch the Android One powered Xiaomi Mi A1 in India back in September this year. Initially it was offered in Gold and Black hues, but now Xiaomi is giving you a new color option to choose in the form of Rose Gold.

Lenovo recently launched the Tab 7 budget tablet in India with voice calling capabilities. Now in the U.S, Lenovo has launched the Tab 7, alongside a more affordable model called Tab 7 Essential.

Putting an end to months of rumors and leaks, OnePlus has finally unveiled the OnePlus 5T, an upgraded version of the OnePlus 5. With the OnePlus 5T, OnePlus joins the bezel-less territory, a feature missing on OnePlus 5.
OnePlus says the phone size is same as OnePlus 5, but the OnePlus 5T has a higher screen-to-body ratio. It flaunts a near-bezel less design for an all-screen front with minimal bezels on all sides. And since there is no space below the screen to place a home button,the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back.
Apart from a new design, OnePlus 5T also get an improved dual camera system. OnePlus has also added facial recognition technology as well, to let you unlock the phone by just looking at it. Also 3.5mm audio jack is still part of the package.

Airtel's 'Mera Pehla 4G smartphone' initiative is getting two new additions. The telecom operator has once again teamed up with Karbonn to launch the A1 Indian and A41 Power ultra- affordable 4G VoLTE enabled Android handsets.
The Kabonn A1 Indian and A41 Power have an effective price of Rs. 1,799 and Rs. 1,849 respectively. However, you'll have to shell out an extra Rs. 1,500 towards down payment, which will be refunded after 36 months. This will take the price of the A1 Indian and A41 Power to Rs. 3,299 and Rs. 3,349 respectively.
The Rs. 1,500 amount will be refunded in two stages: Rs. 500 after 18 months, and the remaining Rs. 1,000 after the completion of 36 months. Do note that, you'll have to make a minimum recharge of Rs. 6,000 during the 36 month period to get the full refund amount. The base recharge plan available is of Rs. 169, which gives you unlimited voice calls and 500MB of 4G data per day for 28 days. Also, there is no need to return the handset to claim the cash back.

vivo has launched V7 in Indonesia, a toned down version of the V7+, which was launched in India back in September. The new V7 when compared to V7+ gets a smaller display, less storage and reduced battery capacity.
The vivo V7 flaunts the same design as V7+ boasting near bezel-less design with narrow bezels for a 83.6 percent screen to body ratio. It sports a metal unibody design and the fingerprint scanner is located at the back.

Lenovo has launched a budget tablet dubbed Tab 7 with 4G LTE support and voice calling capabilities.
The Lenovo Tab 7 features 6.98-inch HD IPS display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8735B/MT8161 chip backed by Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card.
It runs Android Nougat and includes 5MP rear camera with an LED flash, 2MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and Dolby Atmos powered front facing speakers. A 3500mAh battery runs the show.
The Lenovo Tab 7 has been priced at Rs. 9,999, and will be available exclusively from Flipkart in Black color only.
Hong Kong based Infinix, a very popular smartphone brand in South East Asia, set foot in India back in August this year with the Hot 4 Pro and Note 4 budget phones. However, the brand is now taking a step forward and tapping into the upper mid-range segment with the launch of its new phone.
Infinix today at an event in Dubai launched the Zero 5 smartphone featuring flagship level specs such as larger display, dual-camera system and beefy battery capacity. Sadly it missed out on the bezel-less design.
The metal-clad Infinix Zero 5 features 5.98-inch Full HD display and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor. It packs a massive 6GB RAM and comes with 64GB storage. There's also a variant with 128GB storage called Zero 5 Pro. The storage is expandable by inserting a microSD card.
It ships with dual rear facing camera consisting a 12MP Sony IMX386 wide-angle sensor paired to secondary 13MP camera with telephoto lens to offer 2x optical zoom and portrait shots. For selfies, you get 16MP shooter on the front assisted by and LED flash.
The phone runs Android Nougat and has dedicated slots for microSD card and dual-SIM. It supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/m, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C for connectivity, and is fueled by a beefy 4350mAh battery, that's backed by xCharge 18W fast charging. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
As for the pricing the Infinix Zero 5 has been priced at Rs. 17,999, and comes in Champagne Gold and Bordeaux Red colors, while the Zero 5 Pro costs Rs. 19,999, and come in Sandstone Black color. Both will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting November 22.
Following the release of Aqua Lions T1, Intex has launched yet another budget smartphone in India dubbed Aqua Jewel 2. This phone offers slightly better specs than the Aqua Lions T1.
The dual-SIM Aqua Jewels 2 runs Android Nougat and features 5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor (w/ Mali 400 GPU), 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded by inserting a microSD card.
For photography, it has 8MP auto-focus rear camera with an LED flash, and 5MP selfie shooter on the front. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery, and supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Intex Aqua Jewels 2 is listed on the company website for Rs. 5,899, and will hit the shelves soon. It will be available in Champagne and Black colors.
