After teaming up with the likes of HMD Global, Samsung, Xiaomi, Asus, Oppo, vivo, Intex and others, Reliance Jio has now announed its partnership with Infinix to bundle additional data benefits with the recently launched Infinix Zero 5/Zero 5 Pro handsets.
Additionally, other smartphones including Nokia 6, Nokia 2, Nokia 3, vivo V7 and vivo V7+ are now included in the list of Jio's additional data offer.
Infinix Zero 5 & Zero 5 Pro
Owners of Infinix 5/Zero 5 Pro will get up to 100GB additional data for 10 months, given that they activate Jio 4G SIM after November 22, 2017 and make a recharge of Rs. 309 every month for 10 months. Customers will get the extra 10GB data per month (10GB x 10 month) in the form of voucher, and they can continue receiving the additional data until October 18, 2018. The voucher will expire one year from the date of crediting into the Jio account.
Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 6
Last month Reliance Jio offered additional data for Nokia 5 and Nokia 8 users. Now the benefits has extended to Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 6 users.
Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 users will get additional 5GB data every month for the next nine months, for a total of 45GB. Nokia 6 users owners one the other hand will also get additional 5GB data every month, but for the next 10 months, which makes it 50GB data during the offer period. The offer period is applicable from November 24, 2017 and users can continue receiving extra data until August 2018.
Vivo V7 and Vivo V7+
Customers who have purchased the vivo V7/V7+ and activated Jio SIM on or after September, 7, 2017 are eligible to get 10GB data per month from Reliance Jio for 10 months, which takes the total to 100GB 4G data. The offer is valid till May 31, 2018.
General Terms and conditions
To avail the extra data benefits, customers should perform a monthly recharge of Rs. 309 or above during the offer period. The additional data will be credited to the customer's Jio account with 48 hours from the recharge time.
To activate the additional data voucher and avail the offer, eligible customer have to open MyJio app on his/her device and follow the following steps: Open My Jio App -> My Vouchers -> View Voucher -> Recharge my number -> Confirm Recharge-> Successful Recharge Notification. Thereafter the extra data voucher will reflect under the My Plans section.

Hong Kong based Infinix, a very popular smartphone brand in South East Asia, set foot in India back in August this year with the Hot 4 Pro and Note 4 budget phones. However, the brand is now taking a step forward and tapping into the upper mid-range segment with the launch of its new phone.
Infinix today at an event in Dubai launched the Zero 5 smartphone featuring flagship level specs such as larger display, dual-camera system and beefy battery capacity. Sadly it missed out on the bezel-less design.
The metal-clad Infinix Zero 5 features 5.98-inch Full HD display and is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor. It packs a massive 6GB RAM and comes with 64GB storage. There's also a variant with 128GB storage called Zero 5 Pro. The storage is expandable by inserting a microSD card.
It ships with dual rear facing camera consisting a 12MP Sony IMX386 wide-angle sensor paired to secondary 13MP camera with telephoto lens to offer 2x optical zoom and portrait shots. For selfies, you get 16MP shooter on the front assisted by and LED flash.
The phone runs Android Nougat and has dedicated slots for microSD card and dual-SIM. It supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/m, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C for connectivity, and is fueled by a beefy 4350mAh battery, that's backed by xCharge 18W fast charging. It also has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
As for the pricing the Infinix Zero 5 has been priced at Rs. 17,999, and comes in Champagne Gold and Bordeaux Red colors, while the Zero 5 Pro costs Rs. 19,999, and come in Sandstone Black color. Both will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting November 22.
Hong Kong-based Infinix is foraying into the the India market with two smartphones. Infinix is a smartphone brand owned by China's Transsion Holdings, which previously launched Tecno and itel smartphone brand in India as well.
Infinix's first two offering for India are called Hot 4 Pro and Note 4, and they will be sold online. These smartphones supports 4G VoLTE, utilize MediaTek chip and packs a big battery. They also have dedicated slots for dual-SIM and microSD card.
Coming to the specifications, the Infinix Hot 4 Pro features 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM, alongside 16GB on-board storage. It gets LED flash assisted 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner and packs 4000mAh battery. It ships with Android Marshmallow, and the color options are Bordeaux Red, Quartz Black and Magic Gold.
The Infinix Note 4 on the other hand runs Android Nougat and comes with 5.7-inch Full HD display, 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chip (w/ Mali T720 GPU), 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and 4300mAh battery. The camera department includes 13MP rear camera w/ LED flash and 8MP front camera for selfies. There's also a fingerprint scanner at the back. Color options include Ice Blue, Champagne Gold and Milan Black.
The Infinix Hot 4 Pro has been priced at Rs. 7,499 and the Note 4 will set you back by Rs. 8,999. They will be exclusively available online on Flipkart starting August 3. There are also launch offers that include:

Google is continuing to expand it Android One Initiative and the latest country to join the gang is U.A.E. The search giant has partnered with hardware manufacturer Infinix to launch Inifinix Hot 2. This is the same phone that came to Africa last month.

GPS. There is 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and
LED flash. On the front there is 2-megapixel shooter. It is fueled by 2200mAh battery.
The Infinix Hot 2 is priced at AED 299 ($80 | Rs. 5,500) and is available exclusively on Souq.com.
Last week, Google expanded its Android One Initiative to Spain and Portugal with the launch of BQ Aquaris A4.5.
Google is introducing its Android One program to Africa. It has partner with hardware manufacturer Infinix to launch the Infinix Hot 2 in 6 African countries: Nigeria, Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya and Morocco.

Infinix Hot 2 is priced at N17,500 ($87 | Rs. 5,750) for the 1GB model and costs N19,500 ($100 | Rs. 6,400) for the 2GB RAM model (Gold color) in Nigeria which is available via select retail outlets and online retailer Jumia. It's also available from Jumia in Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya and Morocco.
With Android One devices Google's aim is to push lower priced phones to less developed parts of the world where computers are considered luxury.
It was launched in India last year and
since then has reached several Asian countries such as India,
Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Myanmar
and Pakistan. Google recently launched the Lava Pixel V1 and Cherry Mobile One G1, that is part
of the second wave of Android One Program with improved specs.
