Google's Android One lands in UAE, Infinix Hot 2 launched
Google is continuing to expand it Android One Initiative and the latest country to join the gang is U.A.E. The search giant has partnered with hardware manufacturer Infinix to launch Inifinix Hot 2. This is the same phone that came to Africa last month.
Infinix Hot 2 features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with either 1GB. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, has dual SIM slots and supports 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. There is 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash. On the front there is 2-megapixel shooter. It is fueled by 2200mAh battery.
The Infinix Hot 2 is priced at AED 299 ($80 | Rs. 5,500) and is available exclusively on Souq.com.
