HP is expanding its Omen gaming notebook line up in India with the addition of refreshed Omen 15 and Omen 17 models. The new Omen models feature GeForce GTX 10-Series graphic card and have single-access service panel to lets users upgrade RAM and storage (HDD/SDD). Prices start at Rs. 80,990 for the base model of Omen 15, and Rs. 1,59,990 for the Omen 17. They are now available for purchase via online and offline stores, and comes bundled with Omen gaming backpack worth Rs. 5,040. The refreshed HP Omen 15 range includes CE070TX, CE071TX, CE072TX, CE073TX, and CE074TX models. HP has introduced a new 2-in-1 tablet called ZBook x2, and claims it to be the "world's first detachable workstation" designed for creative professionals. It comes with built-in kickstand as well as a detachable keyboard. The keyboard can also be used without being attached to the tablet via Bluetooth and features Quick Keys with 18 adobe app shortcuts. The HP ZBook x2 tablet has 14-inch LED-backlit anti-glare touch display bearing a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, and can be configured with up to an Intel Core i7-8560U Kaby Lake-R processor and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB SSD. It packs NVIDIA Quadro graphics and 32GB RAM, which HP claims is twice the memory capacity of any other detachable. HP is launching a new compact instant printer in India called Sprocket, that's designed to take color print of photo stored in your smartphone or social media accounts on-the-go. Sprocket uses Bluetooth connectivity and a companion app to connect to compatible iOS and Android device. Once connected you can access your smartphone's gallery or photos stored on social media, and print the photo. The app also lets you snap a photo in real time and print it instantly. Before printing you can also add borders, emojis, stickers, filters and fonts to the photos as well. HP is launching a new Android tablet with voice calling capabilities in India called Pro 8 Tablet. The company says the tablet is "Made For India" and is designed for outdoor usage, as it is water & dust resistance and can withstand temperature from -10°C to 50°C. The tablet comes with customizable feature that allow deliver of services, including financial inclusion and benefit schemes. It is aimed at ensuring efficient delivery of subsidized food products under the Public Distribution System (PDS), comprehensive monitoring of various healthcare initiatives and several other flagship programmes run by the central and state governments. It offers host of customizable configurations like iris and fingerprint scanner for Aadhaar-based authentication, thermal printer and magnetic-strip reader for financial transactions and bar code scanner for inventory management. HP back in 2016, introduced the cube-shaped Omen X Desktop gaming PC with powerful hardware. And now the company at Gamescom 2017 has unveiled a laptop with the same branding, and beastly innards, designed for gaming enthusiasts and esports athletes seeking maximum performance. The laptop boasts thermals to support unlocked CPUs to allow for overclocking (via OMEN Command Center software), and factory-overclocked GPUs and memory options for maximum gaming performance. Microsoft yesterday announced a new locked-down version of Windows 10 called Windows 10 S, and a new Surface Laptop with the new operating system costing $999 (starting price), aimed at the students and education sector. The Surface Laptop is no cheap, when compared to Chromebooks' price, given that it is aimed at education. But it's PCs from partners ã…¡ Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, Samsung, HP ã…¡ that will take on Chromebooks, which are growing in popularity in schools. Microsoft has promised that Windows 10 S will ship on third-party laptops priced as low as $189, and Acer and HP have already announced affordable versions of existing laptops running Windows 10 S, aimed at education.
Acer has introduced a new version of its TravelMate Spin B1 convertible (model number B118) with Windows 10 S featuring 11.6-inch Full HD display, Intel Celeraon processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has 360-degree hinge, a touchscreen display, spill resistant keyboard and up to 13 hours of battery life. HP is upgrading its budget-friendly Pavillion x360 convertibles and Pavilion notebooks, by introducing new models. The new line of Pavilion x360 covertible feature 11.6-inch, 14-inch and 15.6-inch screen models, while the Pavillion notebook line up include 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch laptops. Display options include HD or Full HD. The 2017 lineup features the same design as earlier Pavillion notebook, but are thinner and lighter, and gets a chrome plated hinge covers for a premium look. HP has announced the Pro X2 612 G2 convertible with a built-in kickstand and detachable keyboard. The tablet is designed to survive drops, dust and shocks thanks to the MIL-STD 810G tested tested casing, giving the tablet an edge over Microsoft's Surface Pro. Thanks to the built-in kickstand and detachable keyboard, the convertible can be used in multiple modes including commercial use, presentation mode, inking mode for notes, tablet mode for data collection, and notebook mode. The Pro X2 features 12-inch Full HD display and will be available with the choice of Intel's Pentium Core M3, i5 and i7 processors, with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD. It supports stylus input for Windows Ink feature.

HP is expanding its gaming-focused Omen series in India with the launch of new laptops, a gaming desktop, and accessories like headset, keyboard, mouse and mousepad. The HP Omen laptops, called Omen 15 and Omen 17 run Windows 10 and comes with 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch screen sizes respectively with Full HD IPS display. They feature the latest seventh generation Intel Core i7 processors, up to 16GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics. Both also include Bang & Olufsen Audio with Dual Speakers. The 15-inch Omen gaming laptop has seventh-gen quad-core Intel Core i7-700HQ Kaby Lake processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card and 1TB HDD/128GB SSD. The 17-inch Omen on the other hand is VR ready, meaning it is capable of powering HTC's Vive and Oculus' Rift VR headset. It features 7th gen Intel quad-core i7-7700HQ Kaby Lake processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card (6GB GDDR5) and 1TB HDD/256 SDD.

It sports a wide 34-inch curved display with Quad HD resolution with micro-edge (HP's way of saying thin bezel). The AIO PC has an sculpted aluminum stand, Bang & Olufsen sound bar and an integrated privacy camera with IR support for Windows Hello. The Envy AIO PC features 7th Gen Intel Core i5/i7 processor, optional NVIDIA or AMD graphics, up to 16GB DDR4 RAM, up to 256GB SSD plus 2TB HDD, and Windows 10 Home. HP has refreshed its Spectre x360 line of convertible with a new 15.6-inch model with few upgrades including Kaby Lake processor, NVIDIA graphics and bigger battery. Similar to the previous model there's a 360-degree hinge that lets you use the device as laptop or tablet or in stand mode for video viewing or tent mode. The new Spectre x360 features 15.6-inch 4K micro-edge display with pen support and is powered by 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processor. It has NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics with dedicated 2GB video memory, and support up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB SSD. Other features include USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt, USB A, USB Type-C 3.1, HDMI, DisplayPort 1.2, dual Bang & Olufsen speakers, infrared camera for Windows Hello support, and HP fast charge. It also offers a longer battery life of 12.45 hours, compared to 9.5 hours offered by its predecessor. The 15-inch model of HP Spectre x360 will be available in the U.S from January 15 with price ranging from $1279 to $1699.
HP has expanded its Elitebook 800 business class Windows 10 laptop line up with three new models featuring Intel Kaby Lake processor. In addition HP will also add new security features to secure user's identity and data. Starting with the EliteBook 800 G4 series laptops HP will include Sure Start Gen 3 security, which is designed to automatically detect tampering attempts on the BIOS from attacks and notify the user. BIOS is firmware that starts the laptop before the operating system software boots. HP Sure Start Gen3 will help prevent such attacks by automatically detecting tampering attempts with the BIOS (both in pre-boot and run-time), notifying the user of a problem and restoring the BIOS to its original pristine condition from a copy stored on a dedicated computer chip. In that sense, it's self-healing. The HP EliteBook 800 G4 series laptop comes in 12.5-inch, 14-inch and 15.6-inch screen models. The smallest model with 12-inch display can be configured with HD (1280 x 720)/Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, touchscreen option, Core i3/Core i5/Core i7 Kaby Lake processors w/ Intel HD graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB SSD or 1TB HDD. It will include a USB Type-C port, USB 3.1 port, VGA port, Ethernet and DisplayPort Jacks, NFC, Webcam for Windows Hello, fingerprint scanner and more. The 14-inch model will be available with the same configuration as 12.5-inch model, but come with with the option of 2560 x 1440 pixel display in addition to HD/Full HD and pack slightly bigger battery. Lastly the 15.6-inch model will be available in 3840 x 2160 pixel, 1920 x 1080 pixel or 1366 x 768 pixel display option. In addition you get the option opt for AMD Radeon R7 M465 graphics.
