HP Sprocket is a pocket sized wireless instant printer

HP is launching a new compact instant printer in India called Sprocket, that's designed to take color print of photo stored in your smartphone or social media accounts on-the-go.

Sprocket uses Bluetooth connectivity and a companion app to connect to compatible iOS and Android device. Once connected you can access your smartphone's gallery or photos stored on social media, and print the photo. The app also lets you snap a photo in real time and print it instantly. Before printing you can also add borders, emojis, stickers, filters and fonts to the photos as well.

The printer uses ZINK Zero Ink Priniting technology and prints on  5 x 7.6 cm (2 x 3 inches) ZINK photo paper. The paper is designed to ensure you get bright, glossy photos with vibrant colors. Also it's smudge-proof, water-resistant and tear resistant, and are stickable.

The HP Sprocket is priced at Rs. 8,999, and is exclusively available from Amazon India and HP eStore in Black, White and Red colors. The retail pack includes 10 ZINK photo paper, but you can buy more by shelling out Rs. 499 for the pack of 20 ZINK photo papers.
