Gionee A1 now available at Rs. 16,999

The selfie-focused Gionee A1 went on sale in India back in April for Rs. 19,999. Now ahead of festive season, Gionee has slashed the price of A1 by Rs. 3,000 and is now selling it for Rs. 16,999 via offline stores across the country. It comes in Black, Gold and Grey colors.

Moreover, customers who activate the Gionee A1 on Jio network for the first time with a recharge of Rs. 309 and above will be entitled to an addition 60GB of 4G data. The benefit can be availed with six charges of Rs. 309 and above. In addition Gionee has teamed up with PayTm to give Gionee A1 buyers two Paytm cash back vouchers worth Rs. 250 each on a minimum purchase of Rs. 350 via PayTm Mall.

The recap the specs, the Gionee A1 features 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera with 1/3.06" sensor, selfie flash, face beauty and bokeh-selfie features. The main camera unit is a 13MP Sony IMX258 sensor accompanied by PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.

Other specifications includes 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, MediaTek Helio P10 processor (w/ Mali T860 GPU), 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 4G, VoLTE, fingerprint scanner and 4100mAh battery, that promises up to two days of run time on mixed usage. 

It runs Android Nougat and supports microSD card for storage expansion and dual-SIMs via the hybrid dual-SIM slots (SIM + SIM or SIM + SDcard).
