OnePlus 5 will be available offline in Croma Stores from September 19


OnePlus started to sell its products in India through online channels exclusively on Amazon India, followed by Flipkart. It also opened eStore in the country as well. However, to tap offline customers, OnePlus opened its first physical experience stores in Delhi and Bengaluru earlier this year, where customer could physically experience OnePlus products, but not purchase them.

Now OnePlus is changing course to bolster its position in the offline market. Today, the company has announced that its latest flagship, the OnePlus 5 will be available for purchase offline at select Croma stores across the country starting September 19.

This is the first time, OnePlus has teamed up with a retail outlet to sell its smartphone offline in the country. The first Croma stores where OnePlus 5 will be available are located in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune.

The OnePlus 5 comes in two variants: 6GB RAM/64GB storage priced at Rs. 32,999, and 8GB RAM/128GB storage carrying a price tag of Rs,. 32,999. Color options include Slate Gray, Midnight Black and Soft Gold.


It features dual camera at the back, one a 16MP f/1.7 wide-angle lens and the other a 20MP telephoto shooter. The cameras are capable of capturing depth-of-field portrait images, that blurs backdrops and supports  optical zoom. It is capable of recording 4K videos and has f/1.7 aperture and electronic image stabilization. For selfie you're getting a 16MP Sony IMX371 front shooter, and can record Full HD videos.

As for the specs, the OnePlus 5 has 5.5-inch Full HD optic AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C ports, fingerprint scanner and 3300mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat based OxygenOS out of the box.
