HP India refreshes Omen 15 & Omen 17 gaming laptop seires, price starts at Rs. 80,990
HP is expanding its Omen gaming notebook line up in India with the addition of refreshed Omen 15 and Omen 17 models. The new Omen models feature GeForce GTX 10-Series graphic card and have single-access service panel to lets users upgrade RAM and storage (HDD/SDD).
Prices start at Rs. 80,990 for the base model of Omen 15, and Rs. 1,59,990 for the Omen 17. They are now available for purchase via online and offline stores, and comes bundled with Omen gaming backpack worth Rs. 5,040.
The refreshed HP Omen 15 range includes CE070TX, CE071TX, CE072TX, CE073TX, and CE074TX models. The base model features 15.6-inch Full HD LED backlit display, seventh-generation Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 RAM (upgradable to 16GB), 1TB HDD and NVIDIA GTX1050 graphics card with 6GB GDDR5 video RAM.
The high-end Omen 15 model has 15.6-inch UHD (3840 x 2160 pixels) LED backlit display, seventh generation Intel COre i7-7700HQ processor clocked at 2.8GHz, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB HDD/128GB SSD combo drive and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 6GB GDDR5 video RAM.
On the other hand HP Omen 17 line up includes AN009TX and AN010TX models. Both feature 17.3-inch Full HD LED backlit display and equipped with seventh-generation Intel Core i7-700HQ clocked at 2.8GHz. Both models pack 16GB DDR4 RAM (upgradable to 32GB and 1TB HDD/256GB SSD combo drive.
Individually, the Omen 17 AN009TX comes with NVIDIA GeForce 1070 graphics with 8GB GDDR5 video RAM, whereas the AN010TX model has NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5 video RAM.
All refreshed HP Omen 15 and 17 models comes with dragon red backlit island style keyboard with numeric keypad and special highlight for WASD keys and multi-touch gesture supported HP ImagePad. The gaming laptops are VR ready and have Bang & Olufsen audio with HP's proprietary Audio Boost 2.0 with discrete ampifier for enhanced sound experience, and dual-fan cooling system to keep the operations cool inside during heavy gaming sessions.
Apart from the new Omen laptops, HP also launched a few accessories designed for gamers such as HP Mouse 600 and HP Headset 800 priced at Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 6,999 respectively.
