Hong Kong based Infinix enters India with Hot 4 Pro & Note 4


Hong Kong-based Infinix is foraying into the the India market with two smartphones. Infinix is a smartphone brand owned by China's Transsion Holdings, which previously launched Tecno and itel smartphone brand in India as well.

Infinix's first two offering for India are called Hot 4 Pro and Note 4, and they will be sold online. These smartphones supports 4G VoLTE, utilize MediaTek chip and packs a big battery. They also have dedicated slots for dual-SIM and microSD card.

Coming to the specifications, the Infinix Hot 4 Pro features 5.5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with Mali T720 GPU and 3GB RAM, alongside 16GB on-board storage. It gets LED flash assisted 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera, fingerprint scanner and packs 4000mAh battery. It ships with Android Marshmallow, and the color options are Bordeaux Red, Quartz Black and Magic Gold.

The Infinix Note 4 on the other hand runs Android Nougat and comes with 5.7-inch Full HD display, 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chip (w/ Mali T720 GPU), 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and 4300mAh battery. The camera department includes 13MP rear camera w/ LED flash and 8MP front camera for selfies. There's also a fingerprint scanner at the back. Color options include Ice Blue, Champagne Gold and Milan Black.

The Infinix Hot 4 Pro has been priced at Rs. 7,499 and the Note 4 will set you back by Rs. 8,999. They will be exclusively available online on Flipkart starting August 3. There are also launch offers that include:
