New render shows off three color options of Moto G5S Plus


Motorola's upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Moto G5S Plus have surfaced in fresh press render courtesy of Evan Blass. The device has been hitting the rumor mill since May, when it was showcased behind closed doors in China. The Moto G5S Plus will be an upgraded version of Moto G5 Plus in terms of both design and hardware.

In the latest render, the Moto G5S Plus is shown in three color variants it will be offered in: Gold w/ White front, Silver w/ White front and an all-Grey.

Design-wise, the Moto G5 Plus looks almost similar to Moto G5 line, but get some tweaks. The body is premium looking and is made of anodized aluminum with the antenna line visible at the back. It will feature dual-rear cameras, selfie flash and home-button/fingerprint scanner combo.

As for the specs, the display, cameras and possibly the battery will get an upgrade, while the processor, RAM and storage will remain unchanged when compared to Moto G5 Plus.

It will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display (vs. Moto G5 Plus's 5.2-inch display), Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 13MP dual-cameras (one color sensor, and the other black-and-white sensor) and 8MP front camera. The dual-camera will offer features like capturing depth information for bokeh effect, background replacement, and make select part of photo black-and-white. The battery capacity is still not known.

The Moto G5S Plus is rumored to be priced Euro 330 ($390 | Rs. 25,000). Apart from Moto G5S Plus, there's also the Moto G5S, and Moto X4 rumored to carry a priced atg of Euro 300 ($354 | 22,700) and Euro 350 ($412 | Rs. 26,500) respectively. These prices are for the eastern EU region according to Roland Quandt.

The Moto G5S, Moto G5S Plus and Moto X4 may debut in August, or most likely Motorola is saving these devices for IFA 2017 unveiling.
