OxygenOS 4.5.7 for OnePlus 5 adds EIS for 4K recording, new Slate font and more

Following the emergency dialing hotfix (OxygenOS 4.5.6), OnePlus is now rolling out a new update for the OnePlus 5. The latest Oxygen OS update with version 4.5.7 fixes bugs, enhances security, and adds a couple of new features along with optimization.

OxygenOS 4.5.7 for the OnePlus 5 updates the Android security patch level to July 1, 2017, and introduces a new font called "Slate". The new font is available under Settings > Font.

It also enables electronic image stabilization (EIS) when shooting 4K videos. With EIS now enabled, OnePlus 5 users can shoot sharper and shake free video.

The update also brings improvements to WiFi connectivity and standby battery life. Bug fixes include preventing sound leaks in the speaker when using earphones, shutter sound bug in silent mode (Indian region), and a fix for missing sound channels when recording videos.
