Intex Aqua 3G NS, Aqua Wave, Aqua Air listed on company website


Intex has added three new smartphone to its Aqua family, the Aqua 3G NS, Aqua Wave and Aqua Air. These devices run Android 4.4 KitKat and have dual-SIM functionalities.

The Intex Aqua NS and Aqua Wave have a lot of identical innards. Both are powered by 1GHz Spreadtrum processor with 256MB RAM and 512MB internal storage, further expandable via microSD card. They sport 4-inch display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Both are fueled by 1400mAH battery and supports 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPRS/EDGE connectivity.
The difference is in the camera department. The Intex Aqua NS is equipped with 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. While the Intex Aqua Wave has 0.3-megapixel VGA front and rear camera (with LED flash).

The Intex Aqua Air sports a 5-inch IPS display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK6752W processor further aided by Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM. It gets 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. For imaging, it is equipped with 2-megapixel rear camera accompanied by LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. On the connectivity front the Aqua Air supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB 2.0, GPRS/EDGE and GPS/ A-GPS. It is fueled by a 2300mAH battery, which is rated to deliver up to 8.5 hours of talktime and up to 300 hours of standby time.

The Intex Aqua NS, Aqua Wava and Aqua Air are priced at Rs. 4,690, Rs. 3,190 and Rs. 2,949 respectively. They are listed on Intex website and is expected to hit the market soon.
