Qualcomm denies rumors of Snapdragon 810 Delays

Earlier it was reported that the highly anticipated flagship models for 2015 - Samsung Galaxy S6, LG G4 and Sony Xperia Z4 may get delayed due to issues found with the Snapdragon 810.

Now, Qualcomm spokesman has denied this claim, saying that the processor "is still running according to the original schedule." Qualcomm official spokesman said-

"We won't comment on any of the rumor or speculation you referenced but I can tell you that everything with Snapdragon 810 remains on track and we expect commercial devices to be available in 1H 2015,"
Last week a Qualcomm insider reported that “the Snapdragon 810 overheats when it reaches a specific voltage”. Further added that “slows down owing to problems with the RAM controller connected to the AP”, and that “there is an error in the driver of the Adreno 430 GPU”.

This means that the next gen Android flagships are unlikely to be delayed due to any issues with the Snapdragon chip and will arrive as scheduled.
