Report Confirms Double Sided Curved Samsung Galaxy S6

Earlier there were rumors that Samsung's next flagship, Galaxy S6 will come in two variants, the regular version and an edge version where both edges of the phone would feature a curved display.

Now a new report from SamMobile confirms this rumor that the Galaxy S6 will come in two variants, regular and edge version. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will feature the same technology found in Galaxy Note Edge but with curve on both side.

This means the device will have the same interface on its side panel similar to the Galaxy Note Edge with the ability to display all the panels which includes Yahoo! Finance, news, sports and more. Additional apps can be downloaded from the Samsung's app store. It will also feature Night Clock and Express Me.

The dual edge display will enable users to choose which side display they want to use depending on how they hold the device making it easier to use with both left and right hand. The device will offer new features like Glance Lightning and ability to assign colors to contacts on the edge.

The Galaxy S6 Edge carry the model number SM-G925 and it is not clear whether it will be called Galaxy S6 Edge. The device is expected to be announced at MWC 2015, Barcelona alongside the regular Galaxy S6.
