Chinese handset manufacturer Xiaomi is riding high on popularity in India. The company today announced that the Redmi Note 4G will go on sale via Flipkart starting January 24 without registration. This sale will last till Republic day on January 26 until stock lasts. There is no details on what time the sale will commence and number of units up for grabs.

This is the first open sale of Redmi Note 4G where users are not requaired to register to purchase the handset. The Republic day special sale was announced by Xiaomi on its facebook page and twitter account with caption "You can purchase your #RedmiNote4G at any time this coming holiday weekend 24th-26th Jan. Don't miss it!" 

To recap, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and is powered by quad-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU and paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB Internal storage with microSD card suppot (upto 64GB). The handset runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS with MIUIv5 skin on top. Other features include a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3,100mAh battery. The handset is priced at Rs. 9,999.
