LG G4 release rumored for end of April, Possible live photos surfaces online


A forum member at XDA-Developers, has leaked some live photos of what he claims is LG G4. In related news, the LG G4 is expected to roll out by April end.

Talking about the photos, If we take a close look at it we can see a square camera opening on the rear and below that the power button and volume keys are situated. However LG G3 had round power button, the G4 has a rectangular one. Also, the bezels are slightly bigger than G3.

On the top left corner of the handset there is a stylus. But if the said device is the Korean version of G4 it could very well be a TV antenna. The G3's Korean version had an antenna. Overall the design of the LG G4 appears to be similar to that of it predecessors LG G2 and G3.

On the front side, the interface indicates that the G4 is loaded with Android Lollipop with LG's revamped Optimus UI on top.

In related news, Korea Herald reports that LG is planning to launch its next flagship smartphone by April end. LG's next flagship will come with an Quad HD display in the 5-inch range with a curved touch. 

The report further states that Korean analyst remain optimistic of LG's 2015 flagship. It is expected to be a game changer for LG. Kiwoom securities Co. forecasts LG to sell 15 million units of G4 annually, while Korea Investment & securities Co. expects the sale of LG G4 to be 9.2 million.

So far, rumors claim that the LG G4 will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera with OIS and there will be a fingerprint sensor. It is also expected to come in a phablet version that is called G4 Note.
