Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox and Tiny-in-one announced

Lenovo announced the newest addition to its business-oriented ThinkCentre Tiny desktop lineup. Dubbed as the ThinkCentre Chromebox, it is a small sized  desktop running chrome OS that occupies less desktop space.

Lenovo states that the Chromebox  is ‘purposefully-designed for education and small business users’ who want to take advantage of cloud-based computing.'

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox measures 7-inches (height), 7.2-inches (width) and 1.4 inches thick. It weighs just 2.2 pounds. It is designed to be connected easily to the 23-inch Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny-in-one monitor. It can be mounted to the rear of the monitor, converting it into a 23-inch all-in-one Chrome OS PC.

The Chromebox will come with support for Intel's Broadwell Core processors, 4GB RAM and up to 16GB SSD.  On the connectivity front it comes with 4xUSB 3.0, HDMI out, DisplayPort, Ethernet and Headphone/Microphone combo jack.

The Lenovo ThinkCentre Chromebox Tiny will be available in June starting at a price of $199 and the ThinkCentre Tiny-in-one will be priced $279.
