Sony's Xperia Z4 is only for Japan, global flagship due end of May


Sony officially announced the Xperia Z4 today in Japan. At the time of announcement, the company did not reveal any details about the global availability of the Xperia Z4.

Now, a report claims that the Sony Xperia Z4 will only be for Japanese market and Sony will launch a new global flagship by the end of May. 

The Global variant of Xperia Z4 will look the same, but come with different name and with some changes in specifications. For now, no other details are available.

Sony Xperia Z4 comes with some upgrades over the Xperia Z3, the design display size and resolution is same as Xperia Z3. It features 5.2-inch (1080x1920) Triluminios display, octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. Camera features include 20.7-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS BSI sensor, Bionz image processor and 5-megapixel front facing camera with Exmor R sensor.
