Lenovo S60 with 5-inch HD display launched in India for Rs. 12,999
Lenovo S60 is the Chinese company's latest offering in the S series for the Indian market. It is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe 2.0 UI on top and is upgradable to Android 5.0 Lollipop, no time-frame for the release of the update announced.
The Lenovo S60 features 5-inch (1280x720 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB RAM. The smartphone come with 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB microSD cards.
Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixelfront facing camera. The rear camera comes with features like scene detection, face recognition, low light enhancement, Panorama, geo-tagging, burst shot, smile shot and HDR.
On the connectivity front it supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. A 2150mAh battery fuels the Lenovo S60 that is rated to deliver up to 17 hours of talk time and up to 240 hours of standby time on 3G networks. It measures 143.3x72x7.7mm, weighs 128 grams and comes in Pearl White, Laser Yellow and Graphite Grey colors.
It also comes pre-installed with Lenovo proprietary DOit apps that include SECUREit (track, analyse and optimise data usage), SHAREit app (fast phone-to-phone data transfer without the need for Wi-Fi or mobile network), SYNCit (backup data).
The Lenovo S60 is priced at Rs. 12,999 and is now available to buy via Lenovo's official thedotstore, Flipkart and Amazon India.
