Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM launched in India for Rs. 10199


Microsoft has expanded its range of mid-range smartphone in India with the launch of Lumia 540 Dual SIM. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim update capable of upgrading to Windows 10 Mobile later this year.

The Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual-SIM features 5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor paired with 1GB RAM. 

The smartphone comes with 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB microSD cards. It also comes with 15GB OneDrive cloud storage, plus users will get additional 15GB after activating auto-upload to OneDrive.

Camera features include 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash,  f/2.2 aperture, 28mm lens and 5-megapixel wide-angle front facing camera.

Connectivity options include 3G, USB 2.0 WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS / aGPS and support for dual-SIM. 

A 2200mAh battery runs the show on the Lumia 540 Dual SIM. The device will be available in glossy layered cyan, orange, white and matte black. It measures 144 x 73.69 x 9.35 mm and weighs 152g. 

 Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM is priced at Rs. 10,199 and will be available from May 18 via both online and offline retailers. Pre-bookings begin today. The Lumia 540 dual-SIM comes with launch offers that include-
