Global beta version of Xiaomi Mi Store app launched in India
Xiaomi has launched the global version of it Mi Store app in India. The app is currently in beta stage, and Xiaomi is requesting users to provide feedback so that the app can be improved.
The Mi Forum Post read: "To enhance your shopping experience Xiaomi launched its Global Beta version of MI Store in India. Now download it in your mobile and Shop MI products anytime anywhere."
The Mi Store App serves as an e-commomerce platform in which all of Xiaomi's products in India are on sale. So far, the app has got positive review with 64.74% voting in favor of it. The app is still in the Beta Stage, but you can still access lots of features like logging in, set up multiple address, view current or closed orders as well as returns and collect and redeem coupons.
At present the products offered via the app are Xiaomi devices and accessories. Xiaomi's Mi 4, Mi 4i, Redmi 2, Redmi Note 4G, Mi Pad are available to purchase from the app. Accessories like protective cases, back covers, Mi Band, Mi Lights and power banks are also listed.
Xiaomi is already selling some of its products like Mi Band, Mi Power Banks and accessories via its own website and has been decreasing its dependence on e-commerce retailer like Flipkart, Amazon India and Snapdeal.
The app is available for Android devices only but is not available in the Play store. You will have to download the .apk file to install the application. We will update you as soon as Xiaomi's Mi Store app comes out of beta phase and gets public release.
