LG India starts taking pre-orders for the G4, set to launch on June 19
LG India is now taking pre-bookings for LG's 2015 flagship smartphone, the G4 on its website. At the moment LG is offering the leather variant of the G4 in brown, black and red colors. LG will launch the G4 in India at an event in Mumbai on June 19.
Customers who pre-order the LG G4 before June 15 can get a chance to receive the G4 from Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. The company also listed assured gifts for customers who pre-order the G4 which include Metallic finish rear panel worth Rs. 2,000, one-time screen replacement worth Rs. 6,500 and an extra battery with charging cradle worth Rs. 3,500.
In addition, as per Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom, the LG G4 will launch on June 15 and has also tipped the price to be Rs. 51,500. However, the LG G4 Dual-SIM is up for grabs on Infibeam for Rs. 49,999.
Unveiled in April, the LG G4 sports 5.5-inch Quad HD (1440x2560) IPS Quantum display and is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor that packs a dual-core Cortex-A57 cluster clocked at 1.8GHz and a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU running at 1.44GHz. It houses 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage and microSD card slot that supports expandable storage up to 2TB. The G4 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 and an 8-megapixel front camera with f/2.0. Other features include 4G LTE support, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, HDMI support, 3000mAh battery that supports wireless and quick-charging and Android 5.1 Lollipop with LG's new UX 4.0 on top.
