Possible live images of OnePlus 2 leaked
OnePlus 2 is due for a July 27 launch at a virtual reality event, but before live images of the OnePlus 2 have surfaced on the web. The images are blurry but gives us some idea what the OnePlus 2 will look like.
The first image of OnePlus 2 was posted on China's social network Weibo which shows that the device will have the same design as OnePlus One, but will feature few design changes such as metal frame, increased number of holes in speaker grilles and black matte finish. The user who posted the image claims that OnePlus 2 will feature display between 5.5 and 5.7-inch.
The second image were obtained by PhoneArena. The image shows the front and rear side of OnePlus 2. It suggests that the OnePlus 2 will have a metallic build with a high screen to body ration. The rear panel seems to have a wood finish. A fingerprint sensor is present below the rear camera on a vertical bar.
The filters and blurs on the image makes it tough know how real these pictures are. It could be the original OnePlus One with a Bamboo rear cover attached to it, so do take this with a pinch of salt.
OnePlus has already revealed some of the details on the OnePlus 2. It will be powered by v2.1 of Snapdragin 810 processor and feature USB Type-C connectivity.
The OnePlus 2 launch event will being 7:30am IST (7pm PT) on July 27 at a Virtual reality event and will be live-streamed around the word. For this occassion, the company unveiled OnePlus Cardboard VR headset. These will be offered free of cost via OnePlus website, but you will have to pay for shipping.
We can expect more details of OnePlus 2 come out in the coming days.
