Moto G 3rd gen listed in Flipkart, retail box leaked


Ahead of Motorola's July 28 event, details of Moto G 2015 continues to surface online. This time the handset is seen in retail box packaging along with all the contents. It is also listed on company's official online retail partner in India, Flipkart.

Starting with the retail box packaging, the box contents includes the handset, USB cable, charger and blue & green back covers. The Moto G 2015's screen guard details the main specs including 4G LTE connectivity, IPX7 certification, 12MP/5MP camera, 16GB storage, Dual-SIM and 720p display.

Moving on, the Moto G 2015 was also listed on Flipkart. Notably the 1GB RAM with 8GB storage model was listed on the site. According to the listing this model will be available at Rs. 11,999. Some of the other details listed inlcude dual-SIM (Mirco-SIM cards), 4G LTE connectivity support, 5-oinch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5-megapixel front facing camera and 2470mAh battery.

Furthermore, there will also be a 2GB RAM with 16GB storage model also which was not listed on Flipkart but was seen in the retail box (above). This confirms that there will be two RAM/ROM variant of Moto G 2015. The 2GB RAM model is likely to have a higher price. All the specs are in line with the leaks we are treated to so far. This also confirms that Motorola will announce the Moto G 2015 on its July 28 event. Also expected is the third gen Moto X.
