BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite launched in India for Rs. 99,990


At a time when smartphone priced between Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 15,000 are selling like hot cakes in India BlackBerry has released a smartphone that is priced around Rs. 1 lakh.

BlackBerry has launched its QWERTY premium smartphone Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite in the country. It is made from premium materials which include a sapphire glass camera lens, hand-wrapped leather back panel and forged stainless steel chasis. The QWERTY keyboard features glass-like keys and is constructed from a durable synthetic material. 

BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite features 3.1-inch (720 x 720 pixels) 24-bit color OLED touchscreen display. Inside there is an 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 (MSM8960) processor paired with 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 64GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs BlackBerry OS 10 and supports 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC and Micro-HDMI connectivity. Camerwise, it sports 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash, 5 elements F2.2 lens and 1080p HD video recording capabilities. On the front there is a 2-megapixel shooter with 720p HD video recording. It is fuelled by 2100mAh battery.

The phone has  BBM with Unique PIN that is instantly recognizable as a Porsche Design user. BlackBerry also provides an exclusive Porsche Design PIN range – 2AAXXXXX.

The BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 Graphite is priced at Rs. 99,990 and will be available from select retailers in India soon. Some of the accessories included in the box are premium stereo headset, an international charging kit, a polishing cloth, and a USB cable for high-speed data transfer

The Porsche Design P'9983 Graphite  is the fourth smartphone launched in collaboration between BlackBerry and Porsche Design, with the other three being - Porsche Design P'9983, Porsche Design P'9982, and Porsche P'9981.
