LG’s upcoming V10 handset has an auxiliary ‘ticker display’

A new LG high-end smartphone, V10 was spotted on TENAA, which is said to feature an 'auxilary ticker display' like the Samsung Continuum. It will sit on the top of the screen, right next to where the two camera units are located.

For those unaware, Samsung Continuum was launched on Verizon in 2010 with a unique feature: a secondary ticker display beneath its main display. This feature shows notifications, SMS, RSS feed updates, social networking posts and more.

Other than the ticker display, the LG V10 will have 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB storage, 16-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel front shooter, fingerprint scaaner and a microSD card slot.

The LG V10 is slated for October launch.
