Acer Liquid Jade Primo to launch in December, will cost around $400


The Acer Liquid Jade Primo, which was showcased at IFA 2015, has been announced in the Philippines where it will go sale starting December for PHP 18,990 ($410 | Rs. 26,500).

The Liquid Jade Primo runs Windows 10 Mobile and comes with Microsoft's Continuum for phone, a feature that allows seamless transition from mobile to desktop modes. It will ship with a keyboard, mouse, and docking station giving it the feel of a PC phone in terms of both the hardware and software. 

By attaching the phone to the docking station, you can use it on a big screen by using keyboard and mouse. Taking the phone out of the dock provides you with a mobile-friendly experience.

The Acer Liquid Jade Primo was the first device to be announced with Microsoft Continuum feature, but will not be the first to hit the market, as Microsoft's Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will be released sometime in November.

As for specs, the Acer Liquid Jade Primo features 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by hexa-core Snapdragon 808 64-bit processor with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. There is 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and 8-megapixel front facing camera. It also has USB Type-C port The device will also be able to run universal Windows 10 apps.

Unfortunately there is no word on when the Acer Liquid Jade Primo will release in India, Europe and North America.
