HTC One A9 dummy unit image surfaces


The latest set of leaked images of a arriving HTC One A9 are here, courtesy of @OnLeaks and shows a dummy unit from virtually every angle.

As per the images, the One A9 sports a iPhone like aluminum unibody design with inlaid cosmetic lines for a antennas and raised camera hump. The SIM and microSD card slots is on the left side while the power button and volume rockers sit on the right side. The home button is placed at the bottom of the screen which will be equipped with a fingerprint sensor. The HTC logo is seen above the physical home button.

The images show that HTC is changing a priorities a bit this time. The front-facing stereo BoomSound speakers are gone. The speaker is now placed at the bottom with a handful of machined holes, along with the 3.5mm jack, microphone and the USB port.

The HTC One A9 is said to be a mid-range smartphone. It features 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. It is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor and OIS. On the front there is Ultrapixel camera. It is fueled by 2150mAh battery and has a finger print sensor.

The HTC One A9 is expected to be unveiled on October 20.
