It's a robot, it's a phone, meet RoboHon
Sharp has introduced a unique device that is positioned to be a personal smartphone, but shaped like a humanoid. Sharp calls it RoboHon and has been developed by famous Tokyo professor and roboticist Tomotaka Takahashi.
RoboHon measures 19.5cm in height and weighs 390g. It sports a 2-inch OVGA display which is placed on the back of the Robot and features built-in camera and projector on its face. It supports 4G LTE, 3G and WiFi connectivity.
Sharp claims that RoboHon is easy to carry around and you can put it your pocket or bag. It can walk, sit down, get back up, dance and raise its arms when it wants to tell you something. It is also capable of identifying people by their face or voice and will act accordingly, notifying them about a new message and telling them to smile for the camera.
RoboHon will be launched in H1 2016. If you are curious to watch RoboHon in action, watch the video below-
