Possible Samsung Galaxy A3, A7 successors specs surfaces on GFXBench


Details of the successors of the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A7 have surfaced on GFXBench benchmark site, outing key specs.

The possible Galaxy A3 successor, carrying model number SM-A310 is seen featuring 4.7-inch 720p display and powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Exynos 7580 SoC with Mali T-720 GPU and 1.5GB RAM. It has 16GB of inbuilt storage and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera.

The possible successor of Galaxy A7 has a model number SM-A710 and is equipped with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM and 16GB storage. For imaging there is 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The Galaxy A3 successors along with Galaxy A5 successor were also listed on India's import-export tracking website Zauba. The two smartphones were imported into the country for testing purposes. The declared values of the Galaxy A3 and A5 successor listed were Rs. 9,901 and 13,201 respectively, although the price will increase after tax and other duties when they hit the market.

The Samsung Galaxy A series of smartphones comes with full metal body. To recall the first gen Galaxy A3 and A7 were launched on January this year in India, priced at Rs, 20,500 and Rs. 30,499 respectively.
