Titan, HP to jointly make smartwatches

HP recently partnered with Movodo to release their BOLD Motion smartwatch, and now they are partnering with Titan to produce smartwatches. Titan is a joint venture between the Tata Group and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO). 

The partnership between Titan and HP will aim to come up with smartwatches that feature innovative design, materials and technology. The company promises responsive and non-intrusive range of smartwatches. The smartwatches will be launched later this year in India as well as select international markets.

Ravi Kant, CEO of Titan watch and accessories division said that their range of smartwatches will change the way people view the art of timekeeping. Titan, the fifth largest watch maker in the world is yet to reveal details of the smartwatch. 

Titan in the past, had also collaborated with fashion designer Michel Bastian on the HP MB Chronowing smartwatch.
