YU might release a compact yet powerful variant of Yuphoria

As per GeekBench, YU might be working on a powerful variant of the Yuphoria. A YU device with model number YU6000 has been spotted on GeekBench. It is worth noting that the previously launched Yuphoria has a model number of YU5010, which clearly gives the hint that it could be the successor of Yuphoria.

The original Yuphoria featured 5-inch 720p display, quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP rear and a 5MP front facing camera. The new one has more power and better specs, but is a smaller device.

The YU6000 spotted on GeekBench packs a compact 4.6-inch display with 1080p resolution. It is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage. For imaging, there is 12-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front facing camera.

Yuphoria is the second smartphone of Micromax's sister company YU and turned out to be a success for the company. It is being speculated that the new Yu Yuphoria will be announced alongside YU's flagship device, Yutopia, which is being called as a beast. YU has been teasing the device for a while, and it packs a Snapdragon 810 SoC.
