Airtel introduces mobile internet packs with unlimited validity for prepaid users


Airtel has announced three new unrestricted data validity plans for its subscribers, which eliminates the expiry date for data validity. Airtel says that, this is a first of its kind in India that breaks away from the validity expiry model and offers users the flexibility to browse Internet without worrying about expiry of validity period.

The new plans will be initially available for Airtel's prepaid users in Delhi and Mumbai (starting today), followed by subscribers across the country starting December 29. The plans are valid for 2G, 3G and 4GB mobile data.

For Delhi, the new plans are priced at Rs. 24 for 35MB, Rs. 51 for 75MB and Rs. 74 for 100MB of data. In Mumbai the plans are priced at Rs. 22 for 30MB, Rs. 54 for 80MB and Rs. 73 for 100MB.

Announcing the unlimited validity plan for prepaid customers, Ajai Puri, Director - Market Operations, Bharti Airtel said, "As a company that is deeply passionate about 'Customer First', it is our constant endeavour to find newer ways to enrich our customer's lives. Today, we are proud to launch India's first unrestricted validity data plans - which give our prepaid customers the flexibility to enjoy mobile Internet services without worrying about any validity restrictions."
