Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini gets listed online

The mini variant of Samsung's Galaxy S6 dubbed Galaxy S6 Mini has been listed on United Arab Emirates, online retailer LetsTango, revealing specifications and product shots. The Galaxy S6 Mini boasts of a similar design language as the original Galaxy S6. It comes with a metal and glass body much like the Galaxy S6.

As per the listing, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini features 4.6-inch Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and is equipped with 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

On the camera front, the S6 Mini sports 15-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front snapper. Connectivity features include 4G LTE Cat 6., WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS and USB 3.0. Other features include non-removable Li-ion battery, Qi Wireless charging, PayPal certified finger print sensor alongside Samsung Pay support, ANT+ support, S Voice and air gestures.


Despite being listed, the Galaxy S6 Mini is not yet available for purchase. However, pre-registration for the device have already begun and customers will be notified when it becomes available for purchase.
