Asus ZenWatch 2 Android Wear smartwatch launched in India, prices start at Rs. 11,999
Asus has the launched the ZenWatch 2 Android Wear smartphone in India. To recall the ZenWatch 2 was announced at Computex 2015 in June and went on sale in the U.S via Google Store in 2015.
The ZenWatch 2 comes in two models - WI501Q with a 1.63-inch 320 x 320 pixels AMOLED display and the other WI502Q with a 1.45-inch 280 x 280 pixels AMOLED display. Both models come with a layer of 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is equipped with 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400 SoC with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage.
It has IP67 certification for water and dust resistance and comes with 6-axis (gyrometer and accelerometer) sensors, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and mic. The 1.45-inch model pack 300mAh battery while the larger 1.63-inch models has a 400mAh battery.
On the software front it runs Android Wear and offers Asus ZenUI integration with a range of software features. For instance you can mute a call, by simply covering the ZenWatch 2 with your hands. You can also find your smartphone, and control several phone settings such as WiFi and more from your watch. Devices running Android 4.3 or higher and iOS are compatible with the ZenWatch 2.
The Asus ZenWatch 2 comes in several variants and is exclusively available on Flipkart.. Later it will be sold at Asus exclusive stores. The prices are-
