Possible renders of Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge reveals design

Evan Blass aka @evleaks has outed couple of possible renders of Samsung's upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, which are expected to be unveiled at MWC in February.

As seen in the image, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will have design language, similar to that of Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge.  The renders also show that the Galaxy S7 edge is bigger then the Galaxy S7, which corroborates with earlier reports, that suggested that the Galaxy S7 will have 5.1-inch display and the Galaxy S7 edge have a bigger 5.5-inch display. For reference the Galaxy S6 edge packed a 5.1-inch display.

Although the front is similar to 2015's Galaxy line, the hone button has become bigger and more rectangular. The home button will house the fingerprint sensor. Also, the front facing camera module looks big. Moreover, in the image below we can notice the date on the screen, which happens to be the launch date of the devices.

Apart from minor design changes, the Galaxy S7 series is expected to bring significant improvements over the S6 family including IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, microSD card support and larger batteries. According to rumors, the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge batteries will be bumped to 3000mAH (up from 2550mAh) and 3600mAh (up for 2600mAh) respectively.

They will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 8 Octa processor or Snapdragon 820, depending on market, and come with 4GB RAM and in two storage choices - 32GB or 64GB. For photography it will be equipped with 12-megapixel rear camera with large sensors and f/1.7 aperture. Front facing camera is 5-megapixel.
