Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), J7 (2016) appears on GFXBenchmark
After rumors and speculations the Galaxy J1 (2016) finally went on sale in U.A.E last week. Now it appears that Samsung is working on the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) as both the smartphones have passed through GFXBench benchmark test, revealing their specs.
The Galaxy J5 (2016) that has a model number (SM-J510x) sports a 5.2-inch display with 720p display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front shooter. Other features listed include accelerometer, Bluetooth, GPS, light sensor, NFC, proximity sensor, and Wi-Fi under connectivity and sensors department.
The Galaxy J7 (2016) with model number (SM-J710x) has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and equipped with 1.5GHz Snapdragon 610 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front snapper. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and supports NFC connectivity.
The 2016 edition of Galaxy J5 and J7 have received major improvements than its predecessor in the display and RAM department. The Galaxy J5 and J7 2015 edition packed 1.5GB RAM, while the 2016 edition packs 2GB and 3GB RAM respectively. The Galaxy J7 2015 had 720p display while the 2016 model has 1080p display. In addition, the 2016 J5 and J7 support NFC connectivity, a feature that was missing in the 2015 edition.
