Apple may launch 4-inch iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3 on March 15
Rumor mill have been buzzing of a possible Apple event in March where the 4-inch iPhone allegedly called iPhone 5se, new Apple Watch models and iPad 3 will be introduced.
Now according to 9to5Mac, Apple has scheduled an event taking place on March 15 will it will introduce iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3, and announce Apple Watch bands and models.
Some of the details are already known of the iPhone 5se and iPad Air 3, thanks to the rumors. The iPhone 5se will borrow its design from iPhone 5s, while the hardware will be similar to iPhone 6s. The device will be powered by A9 SoC with M9 co-processor (A8 SoC also rumored), 16GB/64GB inbuilt storage, 8-megapixel iSight camera and 5-megapixel front snapper. It will have NFC support for Apple Play, and Live Photos features, but will not have the 3D touch functionality. The iPhone 5se will be targeted at emerging markets and is expected to be priced same as iPhone 5s.
As for the iPad Air 3, the design resembles the iPad Pro, with the same 4 speaker layout, LED flash at the rear as well as the Smart Connector for connecting compatible accessories like keyboard. It will sport 9.7-inch display which is said to be of 4K resolution and equipped with A9 SoC and 4GB RAM. The tablet will be 0.05mm thicker and 0.1mm wider than its predecessor the iPad Air 2.
Finally, the Apple Watch will get new software and a range of new band color options, including new bands from Hermes, a French company that produces fashion-centric luxury accessories a Space Black variant of the Milanese Loop, and some other bands made of a new material.
