Magic Slot Module shown off in new LG G5 leak
LG will launch the G5 on February 21 in Barcelona. The G5 is expected to come with a new design, with new features including an Always On display, Secondary Ticker display like the LG V10, dual-rear camera setup, all of which we have heard or seen earlier except for the 'Magic Slot'.
Now a new image have surfaced that shows an large extension module attached to the back of the LG G5. The module is said to be a external battery pack or a projector module since it has a dial and volume rockers. However, it is not known how the module will be attached to the LG G5.
The Magic Slot feature is being introduced for the first time by LG on its smartphone. Evan Blass (@evleaks) earlier described the Magic Slot as "While its physical incarnation isn’t very clear, it is said to enable some functional expansion by way of hardware modules. The examples we were given range from an array of specified cameras — action, 360 VR, “party” — to an audio amplifier to a physical keyboard."
