Samsung reportedly working on Galaxy S7 edge Batman v Superman edition

Last year, Samsung released the Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man edition, and now if a new report is to believed, Samsung will be switching sides from Marvel to DC, on the next limited edition of Galaxy S7 edge. According to Korean media, Samsung might launch Batman v Superman edition of the Galaxy S7 edge this year.

The report says that, there's word that Samsung could have partnered with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. to launch the Galaxy S7 Batman v Superman edition sometime in March or April. For reference, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the most awaited movie of the year, will hit cinemas on March 25. So it makes sense, Samsung has chosen March or April for the release.

Just like the S6 edge Iron Man edition, the Galaxy S7 Batman v Superman edition may come in a retail package, with the movie theme, bundled with a wireless charger, and the smartphone could come pre-loaded with exclusive movie contents including wallpaper, themes, ringtone and more.

 It is also being reported that there will be other special editon of Galaxy S7 edge and S7 later this year, including, one based on 2016 Winter Olympics, and another in partnership with a popular South Korean singer.

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge on February 21 in Barcelona, Spain, a day before MWC 2016 door opens.
