Huawei Honor X3, 7-inch tablet with Snapdragon 615 SoC receives TENAA certification

Earlier there were rumors that suggested Huawei might introduce the Honor X3 tablet at this year's CES Las Vegas, but that did not happen. Now it looks like Huawei is likely to announce the tablet soon, as it has been certified by China's TENAA.

The product shot outed by TENAA, shows the tablet to have a bezeless metal unibody design. The volume key and power buttons are on the right side along with fingerprint sensor and SIM slot.

As per TENAA listing, Huawei's Honor X3 tablet will flaunt a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 display and powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It will run Android 5.1 Lollipop based Emotion UI and fueled by 4230mAh battery. That's all the details TENAA listing revealed.

Rumors say that, Huawei could possibly launch a higher end variant of Honor X3 tablet that will sport a QHD display and equipped with Huawei's Kirin 950 64-bit octa-core SoC, 4GB RAM and house a bigger 5000mAh battery.

The base model of the Honor X3 is expected to be priced CNY 1999 ($310 | Rs. 20,500) and the high-end model will cost around CNY 2499 ($387 | Rs. 25,500). Expect to hear more about the tablet in the coming days.
